. I knew that you had a full inbox and I simply lost intrest in "general g2k1" once I saw konidias's revision
Anyhow:
Small tutorial for those who want try do a simmilair cloud level:
First of all I used Jasc Paintshop Pro 7, so the steps included are based on that program.
First of all create a background image. The background image should be as big as on graal level 1024 * 1024 pixels:
(you can simply use a alt 1 level snapshot for this and use this as your "background layer")
Now you would want to create a layer above the background for the mystic look (you can also try diffrent colours and effects to create a whole new thing) You can try diffrent transparencies I used 50% but use what you see fit.
Now that you have your background done it's time for some clouds (other objects also possible, do what you see fit) The clouds used are default, they can be imput using the Picture Tub tool (if you don't have it you probely use a pirated version wich didn't include default tubes)
You have now created the "level". You can imput objects as you see fit. If you need help with this create another layer. Create a 32 by 32 image and colour 2 of the 4 "blocks". Flood fill the new layer with this image (by selecting it as Styles>Pattern) You now have a nice grid so you can see where you would want to put optional objects (so they fit the graal 16 by 16 tiles)
What you now need to do is combine all layers and make the "grid layer" invisable. You can also add final touches such as a "sun burst" effect or anything that you desire. Once the layers are combined (keep in mind that you save it before merging) you need to cut the image up in 4*4 (16) blocks of 256 by 256 pixels so that you can put them in your graal level withouth causing to much lag.
After you put them in the level you hide the images and tile the area under it with the property you want the area to have. Add some light effects and other finishing touches and your new "1337" "level" is born.
Good luck :O *drooowls* can't wait to see some hawt stuff from people who can actualy work magic with PSP .. mmm Galdor maby??
PS: I know this is a rather rapidly done and chaotic tutorial for those who have never used psp or love adobe. But the truth is I dislike adobe

so i'll never use it nor make a tutorial about it. Adobe has the same abilaties tho so you just have to puzzel a bit. Also ignore my periodical misspellings and total abuse the english language
