Announcement of fairyland

Some of you are already aware about it but here is the official announcement:

Linux Cyberjoueurs, the company making graal is managing the European servers for the game Fairyland, you can find all information about Fairyland on the official site.

To reward the fidelity of Graal VIP or GOLD players a private beta have been reserved for them, if you are a VIP and GOLD subscriber you can download the client and play right now.

I recommend using BitTorent to download the client:
  1. If you have not BitTorent installed download it from This page
  2. Click on This link to start downloading the Setup

If you don’t want to install BitTorent you can still download the client from this page: http://www.fairyland-europe.com/downloads

Fairyland is a MMORPG game full of mystery and fantasy with the most amazing creatures.

Be a Human and fight against all odds and grow with advancements and upgrades! Mabye you could be an Elf, a graceful being in nature. There is also the optimist Dwarf, which knowns the secrets to the world!

Have Fun.

Unix.

Don't discuss MMORPGs outside of CyberJ's reign. Duh.

Torrent should die, after 5 minutes of being connected, it restarts my system.

Besides, it's going ~250kb/s, and it's not even 600MB, I'll survive without torrent thanks.

I do not really have the time to play both Graal and Fairyland, could you perhaps give a short summary of both to help me decide which of your games to play?

If you read both websites, you can find out just about everything you want to know.

This is most likely the fault of said system. You could always try a different client.

Actually, that rule needs to be revised... Apparently, not only are you not allowed to discuss other MMORPGs... You're not even allowed to mention them.

Whoa. The costume design on some of these characters is a total ripoff of another MMORPG. Awesome >_>.

This game is not an offical Cyberjoueurs is it? I've played this like at the beginning of last summer. I really don't think it was owned by Cyberjoeuers then. Any confessions to buying out a game CyberLinux?

I doubt that, the graphics are too horrible.

They never claimed to have created it, they are hosting a "european version" of it. (Local servers for european users).

I was talking about people who decide to use the torrent. You can close a normal download all you want and I won't care.

We hypothesized that, in Japanese, it was probably a super-cool name. Fairy probably means something else in Japanese as well, it could just be a rough translation.

It should be called "Leprechaun Land".

I have been playing this from the moment it was released and what can I say apart from this game is fantastic. It's so cleverly balanced and the systems are ingenious.

I like Fairyland. There could be some improvements such as showing other players on the map, better music, or a better name, but overall I like it.
