Has houdiniman been fired

Well I have sent angel 3 PMs over 2 weeks, and got no reply yet I think 2 were read (only just sent the 3rd)

Anyway I was asking what I have missed etc, and after reading something in the goodbye forums, I think in Lyndzeys im back thread it made me belive that Houdini has been fired/removed

So, is this true: Has houdini been fired or removed from PWA

If he has been I think Thymn has overstepped his bounds this time. Global banning and striping his rights for warping to him because he would not answer him may have not been to bright BUT a far cry for being fired for and since when can Thymn do this in the first place? I have a real problem with what Thymn did and find his actions corrupt to the max since he is not directly over any Global Staff that I am aware of and even if he is this demostrates a lack of patience on his part for such a minor thing as that , maybe HIS rights need to be taken away for his actions. In my opinion he is not mature enough to have the rights as shown by what he did.:P

Personally I dont think HM should have been Global Staff in the 1st place. He was a very poor example. He would go on GK and scam everyone...now thats making Global look bad. I don't have any problems with any other global besides him.

Where is Zen?

I never knew about the warping, and maybe he shouldnt have, but removing him for something like that is a bit weird. If I was HM, I wouldnt have warped unless its REALLY important, which needed sorting there and then.

Zen, I dont know, well I havent seen him on the forums, but that doesnt mean hes not there. I thought the team was going to actually get boosted and start up and do what he said in his post, maybe they are, just I havent seen him on the forums, but like I said... That means nothing!

And it does seem people have friction with HM and alot of people complaining. Well can anyone give me a full YES or NO?

You got 15mins people then im off travelling

Our personal opinions of HM is not the issue here , the actions of Thymn is. He was legally hired by the PWA and many on here have done things they should not have in the past , many of the Global Staff and Admins have hacked or done other things not prudent for the Game but they still have had or still have high positions on Graal. He was given a chance and that should NOT have been taken away for something as minor and stupid as what was. That is my issue with it, it would be different if he had done something really bad to hurt Graal but this is not the case. I am not a big fan of HM or anyone else on the Global Staff only that everyone is treated fairly and the same.

Rumor is :
His powers have been taken away till Thymn thinks he is mature enough to have them back so I guess that means he is still PWA just doesn't have the Global rights at the moment.

I have a question....if Houdiniman gets his powers removed because he warped to Tyhm when he shouldnt have, how is it that Tyhm keeps his powers when he bans people in the graalympics because they bother him, and when he talks to people like they are nothing?
I agree, Houdiniman shouldnt have warped to him, but I dont believe it is a fireable offence, especially since Tyhm is much worse.
Someone really should look into Tyhm actions against people because they are totally wrong, and it is being ignored

We need a f'king log of people's actions so noone can start throwing stones at staff for being corrupt based on rumors alone.

Graal Staff Goes Corrupt Again.....Now someone is going to go record phone conversations of tyhm then he is gonna snap and start deleting accounts and banning people. I hate this crap of people always abusing there powers. This game is starting to be very insecure because they just hand out global powers left and right. It is really annoying sometimes.

HoudiniMan isn't the most trustable person.
About a year ago (probably a little more) I banned him from classic for using trainers (he had illegal flags in his account, indicating that he used a trainer to heal).
At the same time HM was a FAQ in G2K1, he harassed me a few times over pms there and ignored me when I asked him for help.

Also, a few months ago he was abusing warpto in Classic (it isn't a playerworld) until a GP told him to stop.

Tyhm is pretty old. I think the only way he'll get fired is if he lights unix on fire.

I don't think Houdini should of been part of the PWA, and I have told most of the people here my reasons, however, I do think Tyhms "power" he has is getting to him and the only reason he has this power is because he makes a few things for GK, then gets all these Global rights.

I have used warpto on classic only like 2 times. I havent really been on there, if I have its because I think something is taken off classic, so I find it, or in the case of the warpto's, I warpto the person showing me. Anyhow HM is on now, I hope he replies, as this is rumors only, and its already turned abit sour.

What has Houdiniman done wrong since he has been PWA?
It really doesnt matter whether anyone thinks he should be global staff or not, it matters how he does his job

Shows you what you know, there is already such logs but we won't see them and we don't have the right to see them in the first place so what's your point here? What I stated is not a rumor but fact there were people on when this happened on Graalympics.

*L* I like that, setting Unixmad on fire. Sounds like something Gord would do.

Houdiniman warped into the spar arena during the big spar event. Even a cursory examination of what was going on should have told him it was a bad idea. He had no authority on the Graalympics server to do so, but he had the power and figured he could do whatever the hell he wants. That's what we call abuse of power - using power you have to do one thing to do something totally other. He could have PMed me like everyone else, but he decided he was above all the normal players because he had the power [but not the authority] to warp around on the global event server, despite the implied warnings against it.

So he was local-banned and disconnected, as were all people who interfered with the Graalympics. He then decided to come right back and start chatting with the sparr-ers, so he was globally banned and disconnected again. That time he didn't come back. He whined for a week and I lifted the global ban, but took away his power as he's demonstrated a penchant for abusing it.

I sure as hell don't want people like that with global warpto. If he can't be bothered to PM, he can't be bothered to go through quests normally neither; then a server string is set wrong because someone skipped an important step and nobody can do the quest, or [as in the Graalympics] a database NPC is created that can only be deleted by completely clearing the level and manually recreating the appopriate NPCs.

Unixmad or Stefan can override this removal of power. HM can also prove he's capable of using it responsibly somehow, most likely by reputation. So far everything I've heard about him suggests this wasn't the first time, though it's the last.

Not to be Mister Corrupt, but the forum rules are pretty clear about how you accuse an admin: tell his superior, don't drag him through the mud in public like this. You're welcome to hate me (hell, I prefer it - hated people can do whatever needs to me done, loved people have to worry about how it'll go over), but don't bring down the forum like this, it's got enough problems.
