N-Pulse Blooperz!

Welp, i must be one fast little pecker. Heres the story;
Just about 30 mins ago (suggesting) I was pking about 2 or 3 people (some people jump in and leave a little afterwards. You know, to have fun) and the 2 people i was PKing (Mark and Unknown Freak) kept complaining about my tremendous speed. I kept laughing and continued PKing, then one of them actually went as far as contacting one of the security people to come and check it out, which happend to be Jill. Soo, Jill challenges me to a race, and i beat her to the finish line (which was 'bout half a level away) and she was halfway to the finish when I beated her. Soo, she says im "Clean" and wanders off somewhere (she was probably somewhere else ni the level, I was just concentrating on PKing) soo I laughed at Unknown Freak for actually telling a staff member, and continued my rampage. Soon after some more staff showed up (a couple of events guys) and I was like "mmkay" and continued PKing. Mark, who wasn't complaining at all, PMed me and asked me how I was going soo fast. I replied "Simple. I just close all of my system files (except needed ones for windows) and closed all of my programs except my dialer and Graal." He didn't quite get what I was saying, and i'm not really that patient,and I was tired too, so when he said that didn't help, I replied "I don't know then". Soo here comes LiquidIce, along with another security guy (forgot the name, but it was a guy) who I suppose was following him around. Soo LiquidIce jumped in, and he asked "how u going soo fast?" and I replied (as a joke) "Speed Trainer" and soo the staff started acting up, and LiquidIce wanted the trainer (lol) soo i gave him a fake link. He feel for it, and I said the geocities admins must've tooken it down (they surf their member's sites and delete ones that violate their terms of service (yep)) and he fell for that too. One of teh staff members said I should stop, but I kept joking around and soon enough my ISP d/ced me (bad time) and when i reconnected i found myself "banned" which was actually just a black level. Soo jill asks me "welcome to bann" and i threatend to crash the server, joked around some more, then logged off.
==============================================
This is actually quite funny, because this is the only time i did this and it worked. If they actually mistaked the speed of my modem for a speed trainer, I must be one fast cookie (I have a 355 mghz celeron processor with 49k modem) soo to Moon Goddess or whatever high staff on N-Pulse. It was a joke, and i'm sorry if I made you guys mad. I guess I joked around too far >.>
Toodlez!

Servers really should make sure people are actually using trainers before banning people.
Lots of the playerworlds use the ban button a little to quickly these days.

But anyways, I asked Jill to let me out, and she said she'll only follow orders, soo basically I have to ask moon goddess to let me out, or she has to give jill commands to do so. What a bummer

Don't worry I feel your pain. I'm on banned for making petty death threats on moon goddess' life. *****. Anyways, you'll have to do some pretty heavy convincing to get moon goddess to change her mind about you, even though you were't hacking. Although there are some programs that speed up your computer by making your computer skip frame rate and accelerate everything.

Hey Deek it's me Criminal. Dang that sucks you got banned. I know mark didn't report you, it was probably that other unknown guy.
I guess I missed out on all the fun. I haven't seen LiquidIce play on N-Pulse since he was almost a newbie to the game. Heh. I would have loved to pk him. I guess I missed my chance.

I think you will get unbanned if you ask the right person.

Deek, I actually told Jill that you werent hacking, then I saw you tell someone that you would tell him where to get it, and took off in the icecream shop....then you came back out and asked if anyone else wanted the hack. the guy who asked you for the hack, got banned soon after for hacking I believe.
Now, if you will read the rules, I believe somewhere it states that you will be banned for giving out or asking for hacks. If this was a big joke (which I believe it was) it was a very stupid one to do. Not once did you say you were joking....you get banned then you say you are going to destroy the server, not very smart! A securuty cadet even told you that you needed to stop, or you were going to get banned, but you were just having so much fun, right? Your account will stay banned for one month for that nice little joke, and for whoever said something about what we use ban for....we use ban for permanant ban mostly, but we also use it for the occasional jailed person who constantly cusses and harrasses the staff from jail, so we server ban for the jail time, otherwise we use jail

BTW, dont listen to Shavo...he was banned for alot more than making threats on our lives. End of that story

The N-Pulse staff did the right thing. You were stupid to sit there and tell them you were cheating. I would have banned you also.

Staff can't be 100% sure you are cheating or not, but they also can't be 100% sure that you were joking about cheating. So if they see a guy running really fast, and then he says "I'm using a speed trainer" that isn't going to make him look like less of a cheater.

You should entitle this thread "Deek Blooperz!".

Anyways, what I think the person who was talking about banning hackers is actually opening up the local ban info and banning, not warping to the ban.graal level. But according to the n-pulse rules, Ban.graal basically is just like getting your local ban info set, so I don't know. Also, trainer's are not illegal on graal, because the privacy policy does not list anything about third-party programs I believe. I may have read it wrong, but who knows.

Actually it is illegal or you wouldnt get banned.

Stefan has said numerous times on the boards it is illegal and it does state some where that no 3rd party programs.

BUG ABUSE, HACKS AND TRAINERS
This section refers to creating or using any program or technique resulting in unfair advantage via an undocumented feature or disrupting the datastream to and from the server. Such Memory Edits, Trainers, AntiIdle Macros, Bots or any other ‘hacks’ destroy the balance of play in GraalOnline and reduce its effectiveness to remain an entertaining product. While a player may think that abusing a bug for personal gain may not affect others, the fact is that it distorts power, creates imbalances in riches, and is otherwise unfair to players abiding by normal game rules. Players must agree that the consequences of allowing bugs and loopholes to be exploited is so detrimental to the product, that GraalOnline will exercise no tolerance whatsoever for anyone participating in this type of activity.

Now you know........
People really should read the rules, they are very informative

*clears throat*
he was being watched for speed hack, I told the security that I didnt think he was hacking, he then told people he could send them hack sites........not once in all this did he say he was joking, not even after he got banned, he said it was time to destroy the server, then signed off...now with there being no way of knowing whether or not this may be true, we banned...if you think it will go unpunished, think again.
This is all I have to say on this matter, and this thread needs to be closed

Well until you actually post the history of him saying "time to destroy the server", then there is no reason for him to be banned, and he should be released at once.

Bannification for magic?

I wonder if using a gameshark for PC would get us in trouble, because they are made by 3rd party and we have to pay for it. That would be messed up to get banned for something we pay for. Also if there are bugs, then the server should fix them or take it down rather than keeping it there as a bug. Because 90 % of the time bugs are coming from bad scripting by the server. Well as much as I see it. We get in trouble for mistakes they did wrong *laughs*. I also hope we do not get thought for speed hacking for lag in levels. Because sometimes levels do not load until like 30 seconds after we are in there. Until then the level stays blank and green so we may walk on buildings. Only thing I know that hacking seems magic or godlike to me, which makes me think maybe we should have people like that for graalian gods but I think that contract thing said something about religion so nevermind

Since this has been made a big argument by me, if you cannot provide proof, then you have unjustly banned him, and he can just get nemesis to unban him if you do not provide actual EVIDENCE of any of this.

that made no sense at all, and others rules dont apply on graal....yes it is the servers job to fix bugs, but if you read graals rules, the players arent suppose to abuse the bugs when they find out about one...the players dont get in trouble for mistakes, they get in trouble for abusing it...they always get warned to stop using it in case they did it on accident or whatever...as for the lag, I am well aware of the lag, it has happened to me, and I have made the mistake of banning someone who I thought was hacking, and was not...hey, I am human, sue me....most of the time I can tell, and I watch potential hackers for a long time before acting if I am not sure...Anything else?

To correct myself, that wasn't the real Liquid, that was just a fake one. And yes, i did send hacking threats to Jill after he/she jailed me.
When he was in bann i saw him running around and stuff and he was talking about he can warp or something. The site wasn't even real, if you want to know the link, here it is;
http://www.geocities.com/ripper3553/downloads.html
I just purely made it up, soo theres no way he could've gotten a hack from there, as you put it sounded like he was banned for hacking soon after i made the joke about the sites, when he said he was banned for name calling.

Well there we go, proof that he actaully DID threaten to destroy the server. That's all you had to provide Moonie, but you didn't.

Besides, if I was useing a speed trainer, I would think that they would make it amazingly faster than the normal graal player could run at, instead of slightly going faster, to where the other players could still have an advantage.
I've seen people who could control there lag billions of times, and it looked like they were speed hacking too. It's the same thing as Cable/DSL/T1 players. It looks like their speed hacking, but staff don't get all fizzed up about it do they? It's something you call "common sense" to where you can distinguish something between someone whos not speed hacking and someone who is.
We deal with that all the time on UN, we get lots of hackers on there. If you go on there and go into some of the more populated spots on the server, you could see what I mean.
That server has tons of idiots, some like me who fool staff into thinking there speed hacking. If we jailed everyone who fooled us into thinking they were speed hacking, im sure 40% of the population on that server would be in jail.

When he says "I suggest you stop" means "don't reply to this message saying thank you because I didn't post it for your benefit I was posting it to warn you also". But I will stop, for this post at least.

I wondered about something similar to this too. I did something long ago with my screen saver or sleep with my computer that somehow kept me from being disconnected from the internet, and Graal also.
It would disconnect me when I moved the mouse the next morning though. Pretty weird.
