so, I'm wanting to make a really cool playerworld. I have two options, one being a playerworld like Mario Kart and the other being Zelda.
Upon doing either, would be fun. However, I'm needing a playerworld!

Would anyone like to give me one?

I don't think Graal has ever seen a truly "Zelda-like" server, ever. Classic never held a flame to Zelda's dungeons, puzzles, side-quests. Sure, it worked for Graal, but it was never really Zelda-like. Most of the overworld was open to newbies, so you didn't really need to progress except to get to a few small parts of the world, quests were thrown around and the scripting was horrible, and bosses never worked... Not to mention most of the quests were scripted for single players, not for multiple players at a time. The dungeons themselves consisted of kill the baddies or push the million blocks.

So ya, if you can bring a TRUE Zelda server to Graal, I'd be all for it. This means a well thought out overworld, actual dungeons that take thinking and not mashing of the S button, and creative weapons that expand your playing.

Then again, the Mario Kart server... if you can pull off some ace 3d-simulation and maybe pull it all together with some Diddy Kong racing overworld kind of thing, that would be just as great! The difference with this is that you'd have to fine-tune things to hell to make them really worth playing over and over.

Anyways, It would be awesome if you could make a 3D server and make it like mario kart...a zelda-style 2D game would be cool too but, i really think "mario kart" goes a bit farther and funner then most zelda style would go to.

I would really like to see a good tactical turn based server. Something like Shining force, Tactics Ogre, Vandal Hearts, or final fantasy tactics. Would be nice to battle friends with a team of 13 on a huge chess board pretty much =D

They did before they got a legal threat and had to change the name of the game from Zelda Online to Graal.

No :P Even Zelda Online wasn't really a Zelda server. All it had was part of Zelda's overworld, none of the dungeons or such... not even really many(if any) quests.
Same graphics != same game

I'm talking in terms of content.

BTW: on the mario kart thing... I was going to start a mario kart clone before with Zero... but I got bored with it. As for suggestions... I say look up Mario Kart(for SNES) editors, and take the tileset dump and convert it(much like Graal did with Zelda). This gives you everything you need to make tracks similar to Mario Kart, without putting the effort into knowing what kind of tiles to create.

Why would they, when there's a similar online game based on the Windwaker engine? Ocarina of Time was cool.. in 1998.

Er... they used basically the same engine(with a few changes like the camera). The main difference was the graphics, and not many people accepted WW's graphics.
Either way... lol, Graal servers can hardly handle 100 players without lagging.

OOT kicks WW's arse plain and simple. I like the idea of the zelda based server. Mario kart is fun. But you would get more replay value out of a zelda based server.
