Do you just fear change, or what? It's not like v5 is taking your soul, it's not that different. -.-

If a dockable playerlist and a start bar is enough to scare you off, that's just...wow.

Well, now I can see that he's one of the many who jumped to the wrong conclusions upon the announcement for v5, and thinks it's more expensive, which it's not. (Unless you are paying to access every playerworld)

The gelat system on Zone made me quit Zone, but I'm not letting a few things I don't like make Graal a complete waste of money.

Well it seems some people have problems with following:
- No classic lifetime subscription anymore: On the other hand some stuff is even cheaper now (e.g. one year kingdoms), and the base package is only 15 dollar now.
- Guests only play 5 hours a month: After 5 hours you are switched to observer mode, but after some time you will be switched back into the game. If there wouldn't be any restrictions then no one would ever pay for playing on playerworlds. If people use the new item purchasing on Zone then it could also be possible to switch more servers to that system and let new players play more, but we will need to see that.
- Developer pack is not free: Creating a server is much easier with this and even cheaper (there will be different developer packs). But this is not released yet, so no worries about "paying more"

It seems that people think the highlight is the fact that we pay more: It isn't. It's the reenactment of 'The emperor with no clothes' that is happening, along-side the target audience changing to one that I may no longer feel comfortable with...

I don't see why people seem to think that every single developer on every single server is going to have to buy a dev pack.

I'm gonna stop getting Gold, too, since GK is a waste of time and everyone's a jerk, and Zone... Well, let's say the new Gelat system isn't what I really had in mind with V5 coming.

Why do people complain about the site? You log on the site for a couple minutes to buy something; they might as well have the parents make it look more kid-friendly then it really is on most servers.

Honestly, you're not playing Graal on that site, we have the client for that reason, although I can say that I think that the PM system in v5 isn't as nice as it was to have seperate messages popping up out of the client. The dockable playerlist isn't what I thought they meant as well (I thought it would re-size other windows when you fullscreen a different window, it ends up just going above everything else and blocking out things when I fullscreen something.)

Overall, these changes still aren't enough to make normal players quit (by normal I mean non-development), but I have a feeling Graal Player Dev is going to fall as fast as it is now.

Any Dev that quits because of v5 lacks proper judgment skills.

the version 5 features are nice and i like the video recording feature the best.

some features i like to see:

1) being able to open up multiple servers in just one graal client, without having to get off the current server. the only way to connect to multiple servers without having to log out of the current one(s) is to open a new graal client.

2) match the color and style of the playerlist with the client window. i personally like the docking feature, but it can be improved or fixed. the graal client window will shrink if you open a new game client while the current playerlist is show. also the playerlist messes up/moves any icons that are on the desktop.

3) allow custom skins, so players can customize the look of their graal client.

I paid for a Gold account for 6 Months at then I was told I'd have lifetime classic. I believe that is what I should be getting, isn't it? So is that being fixed or are you forcing people you promised lifetime access to pay again?

Check again.

EDIT: Also, my lifetime classic account is still working. It does seem that you keep the lifetime classic that you already purchased. What they mean by no more lifetime classic is that you can no longer get it, I think.

I like the website, I think the web designers did a great job. It's a nice change. As of the new prices? I'm too ignorant of it to be judgmental yet, but it doesn't seem that bad.

When my Graal Gold subscription runs out, I should have lifetime access, correct?

Because when I paid for it It said "lifetime access to classic servers", or something of that type.

So far the client is sweet. Uses so less resources and we can now make it look sweet. The games world is better than it ever was. I don't care much for Zone but I don't like the idea of being able to buy new weapons with daddys money...perhaps if you could only buy permanent cosmetics...

Why is everyone so ready to drop out so soon?

To be honest, no company can do lifetime services And we have not changed the lifetime classic membership, it's just not available for new people. It's also a little bit silly to say that we hide things after releasing all this new stuff. We have made everything public that we know of, and like to answer questions you have about the new website, the new graal version, the new Zone, the new Skills games, the new subscriptions, but you need to ask. Don't downdate yourself.

Zodiac loses another Dev chief and subsequently: all of the scripters. RapidWolve is technically a dev but wasn't trusted with most of the needed rights.

Runescape manages well with the free base due to the fact they use ads. They aren't really limited at all: paying people just get more area and 5 new skills. Graal's server usage is nothing to Runescapes as well

Because when I paid for it It said "lifetime access to classic servers", or something of that type.
Anyone who already has lifetime classic, will keep it. The new subscriptions are for new members who have not upgraded.
Everyone keeps what they already have.
