Hey hey. I know there's not a lot of people who remember me, but here's a chance to see how I was waaay back when I was a newb, just like some of the people here today.
I started Graal in 2000, but I registered my pay account in 2001 I believe (after they created "pay to play" and such). Before too long, I was already making levels, and trying to create my own playerworld. Of course I don't have any of those levels left, but I was able to find some pictures left on the Graal forums of them, dating way back to 2001 even! I was amazed how much was still on here.
Since then, I've worked on a ton of projects. I probably had my hands on all of the classic playerworlds, with the exception of the newer ones, and Atlantis. I think my first LAT job was on Enigma, a fun little place. I went on to Sanstrata, which was also a cool little place. Eventually I got some pretty good experience, and started working at bigger projects. I've been pretty much everywhere over the years.
Here is some stuff I've collected from the forums that chronicles from 2001 until about 2003. The older ones have the old tileset, and newer ones have the *brand new* new tileset. It'll give you a little idea of my designing evolution! Unfortunately, I haven't made normal levels in a long time, so I don't have anything to compare them to... Interesting though, ain't it?
