Variety man, variety! Dont spam swamps like that and please less bushes. You need some real detail and don't use pre-defined roads. I kinda like those houses.

Overall the level looks flat and needs some work. 3/10 :x

Hints-
Detail by hand
Make roads by hand
Make cliffs look interesting

I agree with Gerami, way too many bushes, try using the tile that appears like a bush that has been pulled up (if you know what I mean), bush hole or whatever you want to call it.

The swamp grass looks too square, and from experiance (over using it myself), a level looks better without so much of it, try randomly placing it in some places.

Also, from experiance where roads are concerned, you can use different edges that give it an interesting look, not so perfect.

Make use of all of the different ground tiles that there are for alot of detail in the level.

Houses are kinda interesting, but you should cut off the bottom of the fence tile that is suppose to go on the ground so you dont have the green grass on the house.

I like the shape and all of the levels, nicely done, just work on the detail

5/10

At least you got the eye for design and creativity.
Just learn how to detail, and how to work with tiles better and you'll be pro.

With swamp, theres a whole bunch of tiles you can use.
With the water, try bunching up the waves instead of randomly putting them like that.
With the bushes, try using less of them and use other tiles to fill in there spot.
With dirt, don't use predenified NPC.

Use the regular houses and edit them slightly in the proper ways. Don't use random tiles to make "houses".

Random Tiles?

Those are MENT for houses

And by "I'll add more later" i am now

Ok it was supposed to be a swamp isle and it also looks better in Galho da Rochas tileset

I just looked at the creation date and it was 6/17/03... kinda old huh? So i'm adding a more recent one

I did certainly not like the design and creativity in those levels, why do you think its a good creative outline in those levels?

Move the cliff down a bit. It makes it look like the house is on a hill...

I am sick of over detailed levels. I like that. Sweet and simple. 6/10

When I say 'random tiles' I am talking about this.

The house on the left is a nice, clean, blue house. It is actually a house. The mass of random tiles on the right may look like a blue house, but it is actually just a lot of abused tiles. A few of the playerworlds are full of this, and it bothers me.

if everyone would use "random tiles" there would be no fun in looking at levels because everything would have the same stuff. I think its good with people that is original in their creation of levels..

Why not trying to make a difference instead of being like you

I totally agree with that. Everyone has his own ideas by creating levels. So that automticly means everyone loves to mix thet tiles on their own way. If everyone did the same, graal would be more boring then it already is now! Imagine that!

Yes, and most of the time they are no good.

Mixing is alright to a degree, but it has gone too far. I'm not going to say which server in particular has committed this hanus crime of non-house mashing the most often.

You are right, there is not much level makers with a good quality.. But you are telling Knuckles to make it more like classic? then it all be better right?

Dude you are completely out of your mind, I wouldnt want the houses to be the same on a whole server, would you?

Also that level to the right was a really BAD example I must say.

Having the same style and NOT MAKING YOUR HOUSES LOOK LIKE **** are two different things. You can make your house look good and not copy someone's style.

Nothing wrong with random tiling in houses, if done right
I have seen alot of really cool looking houses made from alot of different tiles, the normal house tiling is so boring.
All you have to do is keep putting things together until you find something that looks neat.
