i like it, but i think a problem is, if you start playing, and everyone else already has good cards, you will never win, so maybe if you lose you get 1 point, if you tie 2 and if you win 3? Just an idea.

well, it could work. but the entire system would have to change, so it can encourage you to win and the prices of the booster will need to change, umm

If you award people points for losing, it essentially becomes little league baseball. "Oh hey you lost, but here, have this meaningless trophy because we know you tried."

If you award points for losses, wins/losses become rather meaningless and it completely kills any penalty of giving out free wins. "Oh I'll just let people beat me a bunch of times because I get points from it anyways."

yes but also brings up another point, by the time we all get good cards there will be noone left with low level cards and thus you cant win

Awarding the points to the winner is just as bad as school funding for No Child Left Behind. Give extra money to the schools that are preforming well so that they continue to preform well... Ah DURRR.

Card EXP that is separate and you win(or lose) based on how close a game was with a person of a similar or higher level than you would solve this problem. Not sure what card EXP could be used for--

Purchase individual cards with gelats (the in-game ones, not the gelats you buy). Bam.

You weren't limited to buying starter decks and booster packs with Pokemon cards, you could always go out and buy an individual card.

Like i said, the dense people who want this game to work, will not realize its on its path to being buried deep within the ground.

Everyone has already lamed the **** out of this game so its pretty much difficult for any new people to catch up and be good, that is the main problem.

Solution: Reset. Who cares if people ***** about it, the people *****ing would be the lamers. Except for Night, i think hes the only one with legit good cards?

They need to take the game down, and put in all the regulations and rules and scripts it needs so that it will not be lamed.

For some reason, any restriction they did put on the game, the ones i said were retarded and all, well no one lamed through any of that, they couldn't do it with the booster price then they cant do it with them now. Nor could they do it with playing every 30 minutes, or every 15 minutes. DC told me laming with other accounts would be stopped and such, OBVIOUSLY he lied again.

So i feel a reset is in need for this game to fully live again , maybe a bigger player count this time too. Because everytime i come on and want to play, no one on to play, and i log on two different times. Thats two different times that the server is basically dead during the day, compared to fragmans one that he finds opponents. Sorry but with only 6 people on, you may able to find someone to play, but that still sucks, it will most likely be the same battle everytime, playing the same 2 people every 15 minutes. There should be change in who we play, the server is still dead with only 6 people on (thats how many are on right now). Active people, maximus shimmy and Mas. Shimmy hates the game, maximus i could play, and mas is too good now. So ya, dead server, dead game.

Take it down, reset it, release it when we have a better playercount. Go ahead and call me negative, tell me im wrong. But i am not.

I've thought about doing just that (fix and reset; hadn't really thought of taking it down but it would make sense,) but like I said somewhere else Night wasn't fond of the idea of a reset. Obviously we'll continue to talk about such a proposition and decide if a reset is necessary or not (imo it is, and if anything, the benefits outweigh the costs,) but we definately need to fix some things with the game.

So, in summary: fixes needed, and we'll discuss reset.

The more you play the game, the better stratigies you'll pull up. I used to be bad with this level 0 deck, and had losses close to my wins. The more I've played and well, I got like what? 54 wins 19 losses. (Well a few games shorter with complete lvl 0 games).

A reset would be bad for anybody's case. Many people already put a lot of time into the card game and to erase that would be foolish and run them off. There needs to be a better way to stop the pros poaching on the noobs, but the card game is going fine.

Um...the number of people playing now compared to the first three days is...well...not comparable. Obviously the hype and awe of a release brings more people during the opening days, but I don't see anyone playing as much as they used to.

Its always good for 3 days max, thats why they should have held the release.

Anyone with a good record is not going to want a reset, thats obvious. But its not up to them is it.

I started out 31-4 or so when everyone had basically the same cards (or at least I still had similar cards to everyone else because my two boosters SUCKED) and have gone about 20-25 since because I'm now half the time facing noobs with no cards and half the time facing noobs with good cards and simply not being able to compete damage wise.

I always adjust my deck for people wanting a lvl 0 battle. In fact, I win most of those games. It was kinda bs though that I only got one level card from a 25 point pack...(Though it was a level 3..)

Also, what I meant by it's going fine is that the way the system is going is fine. There needs to be tweaks but a reset would just be bad. It typically is for anything.

So we're going to correct all the problems and hopefully make it so people can't lame as easily and make sure everyone gets some good cards (assuming we do all of that,) but we're not going to remove the cards people got from laming or from the boosters that don't exist anymore?

Look at it this way: if we changed the boosters to make sure everyone gets some good cards, why wouldn't we get rid of all the cards people got from the old boosters? Thus we would level the playing field and make it competitive again.
