Red Dragon Amulet Fragment Event

So apparently we have a sexy amulet to event off, and one lucky and talented Zormite is going to get it. And with that, I'll tell you right now this has nothing to with a beauty contest, because you're all pretty.


I'm going to put about 15 ships hanging out in Zormite's water, possibly filled with weakish monsters, no magic at risk of burning the loot. In all of these ships will be a sack containing a single envelope. Each envelope will contain the words "Win" (followed by a series of numbers to prevent cheating), or "lose". There will be a grand total of 4 winning envelopes.

From there, the four lucky winners will return to Zormite island. They'll split into 2 groups of 2 and Zormite's battlefield mode will be enabled. They'll have to fight the person they paired up with.

Now we have 2 winners left. Battlefield will be disabled, and they'll return to the seas in ships, at opposite sides of Zormite, and they'll have a ship battle. No leaving Zormite's waters during the battle. Battlefield may be re-enable during the ship battle so ship to ship magic and boarding are legit moves, but we might enable it. I'll let the two winners decide that.

The last ma- er, fish standing will be rewarded with the RDAF. Possible prizes for all 4 winners, not sure yet.

Most likely Sunday, July 13th, at 2:00 Servertime, but not confirmed yet, I want to make sure I have a time good for everyone.

Would be nice if you were eligible to participate anyways, but I'll humor you. It's an amulet from Gk, that is "part" of an even stronger amulet. It's stats are Speed+2, regeneration+2, Resist Magic+15, Resist Fire+25, and Attuned: Fire

Assuming you actually actively played Gk, you'd have a vague enough concept to know what it was, or at least know it's valuable due to how we earned it to event off. Troll harder.

It all sounds good but the pking part..a lvl 5 could find an envelope and have to fight a lvl 110..That doesnt sound to fair.

Zormite has a grand total of 3 active 110s. That's also the reason I have it being done on Zormite Island in battlefield as opposed to a spar, that way the fight isn't hopelessly lopsided depending on levels.

My only request is that we have an official EM present (on his EM tag, not me, because I want to participate as a player) who has pillory ability. Casting spells regularly with a rod is fine, but I think actual rod casting should be an automatic disqualifier + pillory on sight. (These are the rules I use for magic duels.)

You're doing it in battlefield mode? Then it will be uneven ... it should be done in a spar so speeds and AC do not matter.

Unless battlefield mode does that already?

Ya but Spar is to Small..Like i said it'll be un-even for a lvl 10 who has to fight a lvl 110. Even with battlefield the 110 can easily catch up to the lower lvl.

No, 18:00 isn't that great. 2:00 servertime is better for most of the people I talked to. 18:00 is too early. 2:00 is towards the end of the day, and we've had more people on tag around then.

Your schedule isn't going to be a defining factor in Zormite's events.

That's your problem. Aside from giving me the RDAF, we don't even need you to show up. There are other EMs who can keep people from interfering, and I can pillor the Zormites that are screwing with the event.

This is a Zormite event, not one of yours. The time needs to be good for us, we could care less about you.

Maroku, if I was going to fix the event, you being the one holding it wouldn't change the winner. I'm not participating, so I can't be a jerk and keep it for myself without everyone getting pissed. And you could always be unfair and help someone else win, you're not exactly the most outstanding, honest guy, spawning one of a kind items.

And lastly, how do you and your EMs have more authority over my kingdom and it's events than I do?

Alright, we have a problem.
PoJo texted me this morning, and told me to post on here that his internet got shut off, and he is not able to get on Graal...he is not able to get on any website that requires internet of course. He told me that the event will be held on Sunday if his internet is back up or if he can get to a computer and get Graal on it. Thats all he said before he said he had to go, so please be patient! Thank you.

Enter at the west dungeon, follow the green line, once you get to the entrance, walk up the stairs and you'll be in another dungeon. Sit here and wait thirty seconds and use 'unstick me'. You'll be at the Zormite castle.

My internet was conveniently cut off due to Cox's fault, not my own. I'll reschedule the event to possibly this Sunday which is when my bill is actually due. This isn't terribly bad, because from what I gathered, a few of the more active Zormites couldn't be on for the event anyways.

Pat won, even though the event was executed horribly. Milus was runner up, and will receive ECs or something else of decent value when I get it.
