What's the best character size for Graal among these?

That all depends on the server, and I think Zero gave proof of that with Atexia, the models are like, tiny but still look quite cool.

But B seems to fit in Graal more. Then again it depends on the tileset too.

Wow, I love the animations. Very fluent.
I would go for either b or c for Graal. To me, A seems a little too small and would look like a Gameboy game xD and D looks too large, although, could work well if a server was made to fit..

C makes me laugh because it looks like the guys strutting his stuff around.

Any of the will work good if you proportion them right with the tileset. But either way, I usually work with the same size as B, so I say that's probably your best bet. The bigger you make them, the more room you have to fill, and with animation involved, you're just setting yourself up.

I think everything except D works. Since Graal doesnt have a set screen size, and D is a bit big for Graal's standard one

If you're playing on a high resolution, full screen, then I don't see how D could be a problem.

It all depends on how you proportion you're tileset really. If you make small tiles, than obviously a small body will go with it and vice-versa. But I personally think that the skeletal frame in D would be a nice sized body to work with.

the top and bottom are actually different sizes, i didnt bother to check before i posted....

and i think i like the bottom row of that one best

I beg to differ. I don't just frequent Graal when it comes to pixelart and I think he's damn good. Perhaps Godly is an overstatement, but he has a lot of skill. I've seen a lot of his work that isn't posted here, and he has the skill that isn't shown here(loved his floating island...).
The whole point that he only looks good because this is Graal is a moot point, because he doesn't need Graal to make him look good. Not like it matters telling you, because we all know everyone isn't Godly at art when you're around to be compared to!

in fact i was one of them arguing against taking it so far..ha..
check out a good dedicated pixel art community sometime and you people will be blown away :o

d sized using the arms and upper body from A resized and throwing the legs on from D since..well..i love em.

edit: crap..hmm... i already took note that the hips could use some work and the legs get glitchy somewhere along the way but i never noticed how short and stubby the arms look....they should go down a bit further than that.. rats..

edit 2: and..once again i fail to stick with the birds eye perspective..
