Update on Floating island

3 kingdoms have now chosen where their Ancient Cities will end up.

White=dustari (center of the map)
red/lightblue=Crescent Pirates (south east)
Yellow=Samurai (south west)

The above seen in 2nd pic

Dungeons taken out will instead do libraries (eventually a dungeon will come)

GFX wise:

Someone is working on clouds and archive centers.
Have someone working on graveyard (i think)
Will not have roads.
Will have ruins.

Stuff working on soon.

- Terrain height
- Placing of a few buildings in the areas where the kingdoms have chosen their ancient towns.
- Requesting right now to all kingdoms to see if I can use any new buildings they may have or if they would rather the older stuff used. In that case I will need a .png name so I can place a few.
- possibly one dungeon. Depends if I can get dungeongenerator to work properly.

Bosh can I stress one thing to you. THIS IS AN ANCIENT ISLAND. Means that there will hopefully be ruins or short of that abandoned buildings.

Looks nice, but one question. Floating Island?
Like floating in the air? If so, are you going to replace the water tiles with cloud tiles?

Nothing that has to do with Bosh will be included. He hasn't talked to me personally so no temple nothing.

Yes clouds will be added. I have someone working on them right now. I know people would like an all pk area well you have the arena's to fight in. I will not force people to go into pk mode on the island. If things go the way I need them too it will be difficult enough without lamers setting up directors and sitting at the entry point waiting for people to come through.

That would indeed ruin my Floating Island and I might as well just give it up. However I may just accomidate you and make another Floating Island for just pkers. One house on it that will offer a place to sit and relax. Maybe offer some items to heal with. How would you like that?

I am besides I can work on a second island too. Not much work has to be done on it. terrain height down. 1 house with a few levels. clouds, all pking. special warp out and into it.

besides its already made. I just need to add the clouds right to make it look like a floating island.

No you won't be able to build on either island. Well maybe Floating Island. I will discuss it with stefan but otherwise no on PK and no on floating island.

That reminds me..This is a pre-warning to all non pkers.

Don't expect sympathy if you set foot on the Floating pk island. I won't give any. Its called Floating PK island for a reason.

Umm wow people still don't get what the island is about...lemme mention Ghost Town. This isn't a new place for the kingdoms to nestle down and besides for the pkers at heart I am going to introduce a PK island hopefully before Floating island is released since it would take very little work to finish. Just terrain height, a few chairs, clouds, barriers, way on and off the island.

That pk isle has to be used alot... and i mean like quests, unique item craft, higher level monsters, new shops for the wealthy & elite. Otherwise i can already forsee that it'll just be an unused isle that only a few (1-4 MAX) brave souls venture in, to have good bmode pk fun.

Yea, it'll not be newb friendly but so what?! Levelling is too easy now anyway, yea, they cry it takes forever, but seriously, grind like 26 immense maps a day (just over 2 levels) and you'll be levelling phys/magic/wisdom quickly... and base levels are 2ez to even speak of. If i had it my way, both floating islands would be bmode pk, but i know you won't do that cos you'll say something like, "TINK OF TEH CHILDWEN!!! OH WON'T SUM1 TINK OF TEH CHILDWEN?!!!!"...

Umm well I was going to just release the island as pking but yeah maybe craftable items would be good. I'll ask to see if they can move immense and brutals to that island. Maybe that would keep interest. Maybe difficults too.

Main should only have 1,2,3 anyways.

Umm I will pm some ideas to stefan right away. I can't believe you all making this harder on me but I chose to do this.

Now announcing. Boshism temple and another temple will now be on the non pk floating island.

I think PK island would just frustrate people if they wanted to RPG.
Players can move at 6.00+ speed while haveing all stats maxed.
Its not fair becuase they litterally rule the island.
If I wanted tp pvp, i'd go to the spar!

Pking island should be pretty empty honestly. Because we will be using build fort tool to create bases and raid etc.

buildings to build/buy these materials that are needed would be nice though.

Perhaps a lake in the middle for ship combat.. Ram+swordfight, or just magic fling. Either way it would be epic.

is this going to be like entering a spar ground? if so thats going to be dumb unless you put it like the old spar system wich is just like being in B mode.
also you should put like some cyclops and demons on it will give people more of a reason to want to go to it for the exp or perhaps some new stronger magic casting monsters with faster foot speed making them harder to kill them. angels would be a good idea for a monster

Raven already planned something so if you agro the new enemeys, you cant escape so easily.
Kind of like in Guild Wars or World of Warcraft were you agro a mob and you have a very llow chance to avoid em.
In other words, Monsters will have very high speed.

Hey raven?Can it be made so you have to constintly move around when fighting them?Just going up to them and pressing S or space for 30 secs is too easy and boring.

... They will seriously get boring... Worms have been easily bileable for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time... Reapers, yea, but strengthen them so that they actually attack... I'm sick of monsters with just 'Physical' attack types, so they hit like once per 100 hits...

Pk isle should have stronger monsters due to the risk of just getting on the island, let alone hunting...

Not just monsters... It should have a purpose in the floating isle history and have quests, shops and trade locations of it's own with some items exclusive to that isle.

Ok started making the zormite town. Fixed a few height terrain although people should take notice that main isn't too good with terrain height at all.

battle island still needs some work. I might redo the gmap till I get one I am looking for. We will enable bmode and allow building of forts on it.
