What should you know as a ET?

Pooper, I made this thread for you. (He is making a Guide, and this should help him come up with material.) Also, If you want me to I will delete this when you are done your guide, or if this does not help you.

Ok, I would like people to post Question or entire sets of them(Please include Answers.), which a ET should know.

Here is a Example,

Question Set 1:
Q1: What are the Event Weapons?
A1: Red Pistols, Blue Pistols, Reapers

Q2: Describe what a Hacker looks like.
A2: A hacker is a player who is enhancing themselves beyond the games normal player standards.(Cheating) They commonly appear as Players going thru walls, ignoring freeze time, or moving at abnormal speeds.

Q3: Who are the Current ET/DEV?
A3: Gambet, Stefan, Vulcan(?), Huwajux, jkool666, and Gerami.
(Jo, and Raven are not their because they are "Trail ET".)

Q4: What are the most commonly used pistols?
A4: Appirces. (These kinds of things are for events, So it is something uncommon.)

Q5: What happens when someone wins a Prize Event and is found account sharing?
A5: They are not elligable for prize events any longer, And do not recieve a prize. The Event is rehosted.

Hint: If you have trouble coming up with questions try using the WikiGraal site, It could have some things for trivia. And also use it for Answers, Or for the new "ET"s, it can help you learn some things.

Dealing with Hackers/Glitchers
1. If they claim they are not hacking, but YOU seen them, to bad they stay locked. Report them to higher staff. (jkool666, gambet, huwajux)
2. Glitch abusers are treated same way as hackers, /lock them and report to higher staff.
3. If your hosting an event and get a complaint of a hacker, if the event is starting in less then 3 minutes, event comes first. Check it out immediately when your done hosting. Do not send another player or friend. (Supernanny (FAQ) can be used to check if hes the only other staff on)
4. Don't always trust players even if there are several of them. Over time you will get to know the hackers names and just automatically know they are hacking. (They avoid IP bans)

Q8: Are you allowed to make Events unfair to trails by giving p2ps advantages? (Sayian does this alot.)
A8: Yes, It is.(?)
(In my opinion, I think it is not right at all for Prize Events(Including Chainsaw))

Q9: Who is the Current (GP) of Zone?
A9: Gambet, And when reporting someone, PM him if he is on, and post it on the "Ban" thread.(Is their a ET Forum for that?)

Q10: If you are being spammed with PMs from other players about questions, Who do you forward them to?

I thought it was yes, but the player must upgrade his account to gold or VIP in a time set down by the ET.

Well after like 20 minuits reading all those posts i learned nothing, so i guess im in the know. Even though ETs main job is not taking care of hackers, i think that that is one of the things they need to know about most. What the hackers look like.

Unknownmastermind...umm i had a problem with one of your question. If the person in first place has won said event prize it will goto the person in 2nd place and if that person won it then the event is rehosted. I read that somewhere on the zone forums...think it was one of the ET's who said that.

Whats funny is i seen a hacker on yesterday...was moving really fast..i mean would disappear and reappear in another spot.

Yes, But they try to get rid of who has the weapon before the Event begins, they usually ask them nicely, and if they do not compliy /lock them until the event is over. If they do manage to get in, then the Second gets the Prize falls into play. But some ET(s) go by, "None of that 2nd gets Prize bullcrap, rehost."(Crono does this.).

I think that rules is "shifty" as in, Different Events Team use different Rules. I really don't know the answer to that. I say, you guys should decide amongst yourselves which you prefer. But under no circumstances should you do "Winner's Choice".

Good manors are hard to find in an ET as most noobs tend to drill it out of them with stupid questions, bugging constantly, avoiding the rules just to annoy you. I'm going to try and keep my manors towards the players, and make sure i don't end up ignoring them like Vulcan always does >=P

It's manners and I made a topic awhile back about the rules of the prizes and what happens when the winner already has them. If first place has them, second place gets them. If somehow second and first place have them then the event is rehosted and those two players that got by without the ET noticing they had the weapon are noted and removed next time.

But this is, of course, when Gambet finishes the script for ETs. It'll be an easier way to add items, lock/unstick/kick players, and should help with most, if not all, events. :P
