Showimg drawaslight?

is it possible to show an image (or poly) as a light?

I tried all 4 modes but it doesn't act the same as an NPC with drawaslight.

Last I checked, setting it to 3 had the same effect as drawaslight.

edit: nevermind.

I figured out the problem. I had to set the layer to 3 so it was above the seteffect()

Yes layer 3 is the drawaslight-layer

0 - drawunderplayer
1 - normal
2 - drawoverplayer
3 - drawaslight
4+ - stats layer

So, will layer 3 actually remove some seteffect haze? Or does the combination of the two just make gray muck?

It kinda does, I was trying to negate the seteffect() on an area denoted by a showpoly() I could get it to lighten but whatever I tried the colours had lost some saturation.
