Oh, how cute.

This morning I woke up to find an email telling me I'd requested a Graal password change. Funny thing is, that never happened. Not that I mind a password change every once in a while for security reasons, but it's pretty annoying to know someone's tried doing that.

If this isn't the case, I'd sure like to know what it is.

Oh I get it!
The thing that's cute about it is that he thinks he'll get an answer by posting it on the forums.

Who would steal Draenin's account? He's got such an individualist personality we'd know it wasn't him in a second! Also, if he stopped posting for an extended period of time, we'd all be out on the streets with pitchforks and torches looking for him.

Funny, the same thing happened to me. Except the password was changed to a simple word and I received no correspondance in my email. Also, did I mention it was my Admin-Playerworld### account?

No. A global administrator manually changed the password to an easy-to-guess-4-digit-password too.

Hey, if it keeps happening and is 'annoying' you, have Unixmad trace the IP of who keeps doing it. Im sure they have a log for that somehwere.

My account has been in peril too many time now. I've had to have it globally banned a few times now because of it.

I think there should be more security functions, that you have to know your email for example.. sure, currently its handy to revive extremely old accounts you maybe forgot which email address you used.. but yes it still needs more security.

Unless they changed it, you could change your password on the Admin-Playerworld* accounts by doing /openacc Admin-Playerworld* in RC.

Why? Unless you have access to the email address that you registered with, you cannot reset your password anyway.
