Job's on GK!

Yes the Pub was a Great idea, but there seems to be something missing still. Were are the other business like people at?? There is no competetion here, There could be a group of dwarves taht sell iron, stones, gold and whatever as well. And what about these other minerals for your Alchemy too?? Do you ever realize how much fun that could be?? You could buy Mithril ore from these minners and then go hammer out some mithril chainmail with some other things.. probably diamonds or whatever. And then you could also use the normal mithrils to make special armours and other kinds of enchanted mithril armour.

Making an Inn or some place people could rent out for like a week or whatever wouldnt be such a bad idea either. Or perhaps making player houses able to support a few additional and rentable rooms.

Theres alot of ideas that you can add onto GK that would make it really fun and better off. Gold accounts are starting to diminish in number becuase there isn't all that much left to do on GK that we all haven't seen. Even I wonder if I should renew or not, But I will anyways, just to help out even more players.

Well.. I started a horse ranch/saddle and tack shop, which is underway on CP.... so dont point fingers here. Although being able to rent out rooms would be nice.

And making it to where players can set up their own NPCs in their OWN shops, would be nice.

i think it would be good for a Company to be selling Gold Nuggets, Iron Bars, Coals and Stone

I like the idea of people selling Iron, Stone and Coal, but I also think you're being very lazy so I wouldn't put this idea into play.
Every item can be obtained what involves Alchemy; I just think you're being too lazy to look around.
You mean like an Inn right? You would need to change the regeneration for the HP.
Else, it would be pointless.

It's not my laziness or whatever you want to call me inactive time that I have during my busy work hours on GK. I get to do all this fun fun work for the Pub and Forest, and then theres these people bugging me about a job. Well we could simply fix that and a few other things, I had to get supplies for the pub (again) and I thought, wouldn't it be great if someone sold it for a business. Getting coal isn't my fancy, I have better things I should be doing.

that is the same concept, It doesnt even have to be official you know. Could be some lame guild that does that. You allready called me lazy, which I don't exactly like, and I don't see why you have to try and stop this idea from going somewhere. If you sit down and even think before you shove your finger through a decent idea, you might just find something neat about it.

Hmm.
I know Dayaa is not lazy. She is doing a good job in the pub and I appreciate her very much!
But I guess if we would have shops where ppl can buy stuff that they can mine or get by killing monsters, would make them lazy and bored.
It's a main part of the game to mine and to kill monsters to grow up yourself.
Googie made some days before the request to make a marketplace on main, where people can offer stuff. I like that idea. what do you think about it?

Yes of course there are others that would be affected, but that doesnt mean you couldnt make your own supplies then. The option to buy food from the pub or to make it yourself is still present on GK and doesn't bother anyone, infact it helps keep a few people around more on GK. Because it's more exciting to be in the pub, its alot like a chat room with RP and other friendly people.

We have the restoration spell. People only use the pub to RP.
Dayaa, I'm sorry if I offended you, Sam put it into nicer terms.
If you really want to start your own shop, make it in a house on a kingdom. Or you can always use the trade tables!

Andrew, who the hell would go to a kingdom island to shop though? Kingdom islands are useless at the moment, the only thing they are good for is housing and war.

I'd go if the items were of value. Wouldn't you go if you were going to make a house and you needed Stones and Nails? It would beat mining.

Well.. sam... .could we atleast have buildings we could 'rent' out as you rent out the market stands on Kingdom islands, except have these actual BUILDINGS on the main island? Such as, something can rent out the 'Bomboria Smithy' and with that building, they go and get coal. That way, someone is actually going and GETTING the stuff.

Plus, it makes it much more realistic - medievally. Back then, you didn't grab EVERYTHING you needed, you got some of it, and traded extra for what ever else ye needed.

well if you ask me buying food from the pub is being lazy (noy saying pub is useless cause i work there)
but i still think that there should be a shop where you can buy coal and stuff
