There are specific palette indices that do different things:

0 - Border Color (Default: Black)
1 - Belt Color (Default: Blue)
2 - Transparent (Default: Green)
3 - Shoes (Default: Dark Red)
4 - Sleeves (Default: Red)
5 - Skin (Default: Orange)
6 - Body (Default: White)

Any color after index 6 are not affected and are shown as is. The default bodies are only 16 colors, however, you can safely increase this to 256 colors. Basically, fill any transparent areas with index #2.

Or
Save your editted body as a Bitmap.
Download or Load a program called "Giffy"
Set the transparency in Giffy and then click "Save GIF".
In the Graal2001 folder there is a file called Gif2MNG
Click your newly saved file and drag over Gif2MNG to make it .png

Note:
When saving and transparenting a body, its always good to have the words "-body100.png" at the end so that it works right.

Example:
lordsephirothstutorialbody-body100.png

if you want to make sure that your pallette index is in order then use the open pallette command in PSP and choosing the color should also tell you the index number.
THe reason you should use Gif2 MNG here because PSP and many other gfx programs resort the pallette into a different order, which messes up your order

Bad idea. I believe this breaks in Graal3. Could be wrong.

With "gif2mng -b filename" you can also fix the body colors, even if the palette is messed up.

I've got the normal colors down, but now I need a 'foreign' color(Hues that I cannot access through Graal); Example: (era_body-trupe.png)

I tried this and it didn't stay as-is.

My process when making bodies is as follows:
-Create/Edit the body in MSPaint.
-Copy and paste it to PSP7.
-Transparent and save as GIF.

What am I doing wrong?

That body was made that color, and it's colors cannot be changed. If you don't mind having that single color forever, then I suspect this is your best option.

That isn't the body I'm doing; I used it as an example to display the term "foreign" color.

Attached is the body I'm trying to get.

I'm sorry, I was under the impression that you wanted custom colors/tones.

I think the only reason they have -body# in the image name is so that it goes to the correct folder and not just webgifs.
