So I was playing 2K2 and had happened to acquire a high number of alchemy books of great weight that held useless spells. Since nobody wanted to buy them, I turned to the next best outlet, giving them away.
After I asked people how best to give them away, someone suggested trivia. My story would start here, but this "SkyBlazer" guy decided to PK me. This required a judicious response...

Okay, forget trivia. Whoever spams SkyBlazer into oblivion for PKing me wins.
To this I recieved several responses ranging from "XD" to "I spammed him" to SkyBlazer himself saying "u still loose ****ie....no one has spammed me". (By the way, the **** is just the forum censoring that name that people often call new players).
After this, I decided to declare the whole thing a tie between everyone and have trivia as the tiebreaker. So begins my 2K2 trivia experience.

Okay, first question:
IS SPIDER THE BSET EVER?
To this I received responses ranging from "no" to "no, you are". But not one person actually replied saying "Yes". A lot of people said that I mispelt "best" too. What did happen though, was Pirate Marty LaMeat said that the question was really "ARE SPIDER THE BSET EVER?". This is wrong, but I liked the answer and gave him one point, and moved to the next question.

Next question:
What does caw stand for?
To this I received many answers. Most of them involving birds. Pirate Marty LaMart suggested that it stood for "pile of stinking sipoo". Nobody managed to get it right and I informed them all that it stood for "Cyn and Wind", even if that is not exactly true, it's a lot better than what they came up with, and sent out the next question.

Next question:
What is the magic number?
Hint: Kamuii
This question will be worth as many points as the answer is equal to.
Once again, everyone failed to get it right, nobody even suggested a number higher than "1000". To be fair on this one though, I didn't think that very many people besides me and Kamuii would be likely to remember it. So I told them all that the answer was 59000 (This is important later) and moved on to the next question.

Next question:
Who is the best supermod ever?
Most PMs asked me what a supermod was. One told me that it was a matter of opinion. One person said it was me. Pirate Marty LaMart suggested it was "unixmad". For this I deducted his one point. Nobody even came up with the names of any of the present day supermods, or anyone who had been a supermod ever. So I told them that it was Kaimetsu, and that anyone who said it was a matter of opinion hadn't met Kaimetsu. And moved on to the final question.

Next question:
Who was the worst manager of 2K1 ever.
Hint: He gave 59000 gralats to someone with RC (This isn't actually quite true)
Hint: I really hope you've been paying attention to the questions.
Most people said Lance. Which atleast demonstrated that they knew who managed 2K1 currently, even if they were wrong. One person said Jeff, and one even said "Jagen". I informed them that they were all wrong, and that they didn't even need to have knowledge of the forums to get this one right, they just had to actually read my questions. At this point, SkyBlazer decided to get involved again.
SkyBlazer (Rain) (10/4/2004 4:52:08 PM):
Lance has always been manager of G2k1
---
Googi (10/4/2004 4:52:27 PM):
If you think that, you can't call me a **** anymore.
---
SkyBlazer (Rain) (10/4/2004 4:52:43 PM):
Im talking about recently.
---
Googi (10/4/2004 4:52:56 PM):
That must be what "always" means.
---
SkyBlazer (Rain) (10/4/2004 4:53:23 PM):
Im not always literally meaning something.
---
Googi (10/4/2004 4:54:03 PM):
I guess that must have been the case when you called me a "****".
---
Finally, the triviamaster Pirate Marty LaMart figured out that it was Kamuii (Yeah, sorry Kamuii), and I awarded him the prize. Which was kind of too bad since I had a great next question that involved mining and owner tags and endless mines of doom. |
