Yes, it's time to begin hiring again, because CheeToS said to, so I did! ^_^
This thread will be open until Monday-Tuesday (Most likely Tuesday)
Please, follow all directions and post here ONLY if you have difficulties, but do NOT post your application.

Events Team Application:

The following (including questions) should be sent to "[email protected]" with the subject "ET App" Failure to follow such instruction will result in deduction of points. If there are any problems- contact me on Graal or AIM.

1.) What do ET and ETA/EA stand for?
2.) How long have you been a patron of 2K1?
3.) How many online hours do you have? (On 2K1)
4.) Would you say it was easy for you to make money or hard? (On 2K1)
5.) What Timezone/Country do you live in?
6.) What is your primary language?
7.) Name atleast four (4) staff members and their 'job'.
8.) Have you ever been in 2K1's Event Team before? If so, under what Events Admin?
9.) What do you wish for ET to be like in ~2 months?
10.) On a scale of 1-10, please rate your maturity.
11.) Would you wear your tag if you weren't hosting events and there wasn't a conference occuring?
12.) What is your Account Name: Nickname?

Ok, after a 1 day screening 12 were decided and the top 3 were chosen to take the job earlier than expected. (So there could be more weekend events.) Do not worry, the others will get their tags on Tuesday.

The three below are the chosen ones. (They can also use this page via copy+paste to set their nicks.)

I applied for Police, as well. I was going to apply for FAQ on top of it, but my memory's a bit shoddy and on top of that I don't think I could stomach working under Googi.

At approx. 4:10 PM (CST) on Tuesday, August 25, 2003 all the new ETs will be announced in this thread, if you haven't sent in an application, I suggest you do so before then- I will finish screening then, and begin making the tags, when I am finished with the tags- I will post the guild roster here.

Kaelink, could you reinforce the fact that they shouldn't be on tag if they're not currently hosting an event? The Staff section of the playerlist is rivalling the Normal section.

I fixed some tags... I accidently added a space between the account name and the nickname, maybe fixing that will allow Katan, Arwen, and Angel to set their tags.

Hello, i tried to use my tag but it didn't work, if it's due to inactiness and not holding events i'm sorry but:
1.I can barely hold any because people are always holding them.
2.I haven't had time to, my mom and step-dad and so much chaos is going on so i have not had much time to get on the computer and Graal..

I'm sorry Emily, or as I have become accustomed to calling you, E.T. However I have never once seen you on tag in all my time on Graal2001 and all my time on as an Events Team member. Your second excuse is hardly relavent and wont get you anywhere. If you want to keep your job, do your job. That's the best advice I can offer.

You didn't do your job, there is no excuse. Kae or the Events Team has no use for an ET who doesnt do their job, no matter the circumstances.

A long time ago I was removed from ET after not logging on for 1 and a half days. You had alot more time then that, I heard kae just removed ur tag today or yesterday, so you had alot of time to get on and hold events.

Also, there are so much ETs but some ETs never even hosted an event at G2k1, and now I don't see many events.

I have spoken to one or two people for that (they pmed me with a question and I kind of just suggested it). According to one person, the idea of no event meant not going on tag made sense, but he said he was never told anything about it. He did take off his tag though.

That's good, but it is common sense to not have the tag on if you aren't doing anything with it.
