Well its online now. Can any staff tell us of what you are doing, and how long we have got to wait?

I tried to connect like 50 times last night

all i could see was 3 staff on it... the only one i knew was Angel...

I can't believe it's up already, after from what Soul-Blade had posted, it seemed it was going to take much longer till he was finnished...
(unless he's going to be in private for a while... which i thought wasn't allowed anymore)

Well obviously there will always be exceptions to such PW's as his, which has potential above anyone else's.

Well, currently I am getting everything I had offline and getting it to work online. Everything has been going smoothly, and I have encountered only one major problem, which should be fixed shortly.

Length to wait is very unpredictable. I will release it once I have a big project done, and I am already about 50% done with it. After that I just need to do some integration/introduction and such. Basicly the current plans are to create something for you to do that would take a while to complete and still is fun and interesting as we work on other things. Also, I need to make many more graphics such as items, bodies, heads, etc. before I can release anything.

Hopefully the planned project will be done soon, so you all can enjoy it. But currently, due to how unpredictable things can be, I will give no release date. All I will say is (hopefully) soon.

the graphics on here are spectacular, so are the oasis ones even though they are a diffrent style.
i am guessing that oasis will have better scripting and junk becuase i mean, the manager of it is a former game master.
anyways i still cannotw ait to play Shifting ages and it looks AWSOME

I can't wait for either of them. Graal lost many people when we went p2p. But now we are gaining them rapidly, with over 50 people constantly, every night on 4 servers. And now with these two only weeks away, WHO KNOWS???

not for sure, but he said (hopefully) soon, and It seems that Koni isn't TOO far away with oasis.
Also Rudora isnt too far away either.

Well, just thought I should give a little update. My big problem I mentioned above was just solved, so I expect things to run MUCH more smoothly from now on. I may pull ahead of my projected schedule, and hopefully I can release something sooner then anything you guys expected. I don't plan on rushing, especially with all these new hacks out there, though, because I want to make this completely hacker proof... so we'll see.

How did you guys have it disconnect you as soon as you log on? Thats a very nice clean way to do it unlike some servers than make it think you're hacking to boot you or use server warp... I'd appriciate if you shared your method

Im crap at scripting but its something like:

if (actionplayeronline) {
sendtonc /dissconect #a;
}

Well they send something through NC, and anyway, I think they have to tokenize the account first, but something like that.

And nothing is hacker proof. Stupid teenagers thinkins they are hackers when they are only ressing buttons on a trainer proof is nearly possible.

That doesn't really mean much - you don't need to know how to script to be a GM. Personally I'm not sure how they compare at the moment. I would guess that Soul Blade is the better scripter, but I have no real way to know for sure.

I think Soul-Blade is konidias in disguise (or vice-versa) and he is making 2 playerworlds so he can get tons of money from the new PW plan that is coming into effect soon

It does not, and never has.

The actual command is /reset #a which causes a disconnect along with resetting the account (as you all may have notice

).

The reason it would have such a command in RC is to reset accounts that aren't online (I assume).

Credit on this goes to Jagen, my old one used serverwarp but this one is superior.

I wasn't aware the payment server option was availible right now... And the reset command is a clever way to do that, though i wish there was a way to disconnect players without resetting their attributes... This would be more useful for making scripts that do what you're doing here and that could be used after a user has stats built up on a PW

im sure playerworld quality had nothing to do with it getting up

sure its pretty good but soul-blade also has debug access to talk to stefan all the time

im sure if all pw managers did stefan would like alot more pw's

just like konidias had access to talk to stefan\unixmad privately alot and he is up

same with birdbird

notice a trend?

That's how it goes but I have zero respect for playerworlds and the playerworld managers who get up doing such a 'routine'.

I'm sure Soul-Blade's playerworld will be very nice but I will never be able to experience because it will disgust me just playing it.

Warcraptain, don't be a fool. How many times did Murasamune pass the PW inspectors? 10? Then the private with Psyker? I only had about 2% of Murasamune done and Psyker still passed it!

Shifting Ages is superior to Murasamune in every way. PW inspectors are meaningless now, Stefan has said it himself. I even left a very long note in FTP on debug stating the only reason I have spent 4 months or so on debug is so I COULD have the extra advantage and be able to get my PW up.

I saw the pattern, and I felt it was unfair, so I took part. And I think Stefan is very intelligent doing it the way he does...I now enjoy working on debug so even with my PW up I still work there. Stefan does this because he gets to know and trust the people he gives a PW out.

Isn't it also strange coincidence that all three of those PWs were at one time or another looked at in high regard? Clearly Oasis, g2230 (at one time) and my own deserve the servers (not to sound arrogant).

Warcraptain, get over yourself. You are consumed by hate and jealousy. You wish to eliminate anyone who can overpower your abilities...just a coincidence you insult me AND konidias, is it? Hmm strange...we both have private worlds up. Hmm...they will both no doubt have more players then enigma...

Put 2 and 2 together. Anything Warcraptain says is obviously idiotic. I have waited months to get this world up, and worked on all the clientside stuff during that time..now I will begin the serverside and create a enjoyable playerworld. If you don't like it, then don't play it. I am not going to ban anyone, because I am not going to have a corrupt management. Say all you want, you can play it or not I will not care one way or the other. I just want to make something that will be fun, and I will.

Well I do agree with WC on someparts because yes it is unfair that people have to pretty much always work for Stefan on graal 2002 just to get their own pw up... You people have some rather narrow minds

It doesn't 'just go up.' You still have to give him a valuable reason and proof as well that it is more than capable of drawing in players. That and you have to earn trust. These are simple and common things with almost anyone you meet that may be in a position of such power. Obviously, those that have thier stuff up but not for the public have proved that they are worth the time and effort to cause Stefan to go out of his way to do them a favor. Everyone is capable of this if they try. So many of you want it to behave like Socialism or Communism. Sorry, but that is not how it works nor how it should work.

This also applies in the real world especially in jobs. If you prove you are good enough for a raise by working hard to make sure you do a good quality job, you're more than likely going to get it because you are a valuable asset to the company. In the terms of Graal, obviously, if you present quality work that you've put pretty much your all into you will be rewarded for your efforts because your talents are invaluable to the community and to the game. Likewise, if you do a half-assed job or only mediocre work you're not likely to get a raise or reward. Thus giving you feelings of jealousy and resentment.
