level editing (black tiles)

I have a bug in my level editer... When im working on these levels that have a map... when ever i try to edit this one level (whether i move my cursor into it in editing mode, or press F4 when im in it with my player) all my tiles go black! all i can see in the editor are NPCs and the yellow and red rectangles from the warps and signs... And i have to restart graal everytime it does that... and its not from an addtiledef script, because i set my offline tile def txt file to read only cuz it was making me mad... anyone else have this problem?

Don't name your level test[something].nw - there's an addtiledef that screws with those levels. Apparently there's a tiledef file you can delete to fix it.

One question are you opening up the level and editing it? Or just walking into the level either through playing mode or editing mode? What it sounds like to me is you have a bad link such as maybe the level is myworld_a-1.nw and you have the warp set as myworlda-1.nw I'd check that if I where you. Because I know that causes blackness I've had that problem a couple of times where I miss typed warps.

No and no, these levels are from rudora's overworld so they start with rudora... and I don't have any tile defs for rudora... also, it's not a bad link, cuz it works online
