I was thinking the other day, it would be really nice if Stefan implemented something like that into Graal...of course, the format used would be a question but you could use low-medium quality wavs to do the job. Don't know how well it would work, but it's an idea at least

It can be done with NPCs, as long as you have your own fitting music.
You can even make it slowly replace each other by making use of the setmusicvolume command.

I know I tend to ignore sounds. =/ hard to find good one's I guess. at least for me.
