Don't connect levels

Whatever happened to this option?
It really cut down on the lag that I got when running around populated areas on Graal, but now it's gone, the levels are always connected. Any plans on bringing this back?

if he does bring it back please please have it so servers can have it make the players always connect levels

because i can get onto island from the water if they are not connected
