Kaimetsu will become famous soon enough
Do you mean that drawaslight itself isn't working and images are being affected by seteffect, or that setcoloreffect isn't working?

I didn't have any problems with other images not being drawaslight, in fact I made a test level, and had seteffect 0,0,0,.9 to make it dark, and I used the animoon gif and set it to drawaslight. It worked just fine, and looked great.

i want to know why it doesnt work when i try it on gifs and that it works on light2.png

Tyhm has a spectacular aura about
load light2.png. See how it does that gradient thing? That's why.
Lighter = more opaque, darker = more transparent. So trying to make a tree alphablend is futile.
