Seven years and soon to be eight...

I've played Era since it was incarnated in 2002, and now, will be my last footstep here. I'm quitting.

What are my reasons?

1. I have other things to do
2. Today's Era's repetitiveness is reeeeeally getting to me.

It wasn't repetitive back in 2002-2004, when raiding MEANT something -- but unfortunately that's all people do now, because all the other things that made Era great has now either been severely diminished or outright pulverized.

Funny though how I prefer this to the mainstream stuff, I remember trying out World of Warcraft and became outright bored, maybe it's because I saw something past the outright lack of appeal of Graal?

Anyways, I want to thank Delph for creating Era, Chrisz for not ruining it, and Drakaden for making Black Holst. I don't want to give a shout out to everybody though -- that'd be WAY too much. Although, I don't want to ignore the players either, because they truly made not just Era be Era but Graal be Graal.

From joining Black Holst, killing Era Police, editing door graphics to raid Rubeus Syndicate, whatever I did after getting fired from Black Holst, to whatever else, I won't forget any of that.

We sometimes didn't get along but in general I liked you better then quite a few people on era. Sad to see you go but I completely understand, I quit because of the repetitiveness 2 years ago was gone for a year and a half and then came back

I will always miss Era back when it was in it's prime. sadly enough, people like you and me have watched the server slowly decline ever since Jenn took over. Era will never be the same. not because I'm doubting the current management, but back when I enjoyed Era the most, I was 12 - 14 years old. if Era from 2003 - 2004 was magically uploaded right now, I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. I'm not the same person as I was 4 - 6 years ago. it's hard to explain but I'm sure a few of you can relate.

I agree with this too, when I found Era 3-4 years ago I was trial. But still I NEVER became tired running around and stealing Nitro bombs that people digged up, then I threw them on them.

But now the spirit is gone.

I just hope new Era will be good. <3

Well, one of the only reasons I was still playing was because I was leader of Tachi; if I went off for a day or two I'd get bished at. The more days off the more bishing I get.

Woah, you finally quit? Interesting. You've been talking about that for months, didn't think you'd do it, but uh anyways, hope the best for you. But on another note, yes.
Era will never be the same, and I am not surprised people are not enjoying such a Used-to-be Fine server.

And it is still hard to watch all these staff members [new & old] try so hard to revive such a dead server.
I'll admit I miss Era, but I can say that for the times from 3years+ ago.

that would be funny if Tachi got deleted. I said it from day 1 that it wouldn't last. it may have lasted longer than I expected, but I would still be right

no matter what, new gangs that aren't BB/BH/LC will always die.

Thats true, seeing as new staff outside of the originators will always fail. Making it impossible for those gangs to live, although Tachi doesn't have to die. I could just take it over and keep it going, but then that'd leave four gangs, since deleting those three gangs should/would be out of the question.

Still, your prediction isn't anything impressive. Thats like saying Barack Obama will die someday. <- well no ****, everyone dies someday.
