Although [*gives rough estimate*] about 90% of the community hates them, and they have a bad effect on the Super-Mods because of it? Good call.

90%? Hardly...only a few, there are alot more people who post here then those that post daily, alot of people hardly ever post, but just read the forums...you cannot say how they feel, only they can.

Can you? If they don't say anything, does that make them like them? Out of the people who publicly debate it, my rought estimate seems correct.

Seems only you and posters like you that have been , Banned and warned for things are complaining. That is by no means a true representation of the Members here and you need to go back to school on averages because your estimate of 90% of these Boards are way off. 90% of the posters here don't get into trouble like some of you do and your view is tainted to suit people like you who like to "buck the system" no matter what the rules are.

I'm sure that over 90% would like free forum access. Does that mean that we should make it so?

Rules are not made to be enjoyed in themselves, they are made to be enjoyed in that irresponsible posts are not made here.

Then why did you say his post was deleted to begin with?

Not only that but how come the rest of us dont get to keep our posts with an explaination following it stating if its right or wrong? My posts disappear all the time and I dont even get a reason. I want a reason so I know that my posts are being deleted by JUST rules/reasons and not things pulled out of a mod's ass. Ma'am.

Probably because you aren't new, and are expected to know the rules.

I think it is a show of good judgement to show some leniency to a new member if it's obvious they don't understand what is going on. It's not as though he was swearing up and down the forums or being rude (things that would obviously be bad).

Gerami, your posts have been deleted because they were nothing but spam, or responses to spam with more spam...you know the rules, you dont need a forum pm everytime I delete a post that you know is spam, use your head...and I never said MKnance's post was deleted, you obviously misunderstood something I said...
I do not delete posts that I dont like, I delete posts that break the forum rules

I usually do forum pm, if I dont...go read the rules, its a good bet it was deleted because it was spam

No, it doesnt mean the ones that do not post, agree with the rules...the point was that you nor I can speak for those who have not posted on the subject.

Kamuii is the rightful super moderator. Moon Goddess, Spark, and angel are not, and never have been.

They are super mods only because like me, all my rules and systems were disgarded and ignored for no reason.

I don't post much but i'll say a few things.
#1. I'd think its a good idea to add a new Admin, as that is apparently what the members want, as they are the customers.
#2. Most of the time when i'm reading a topic ("debate") like this, I usually find fault in Moonie's statements, as in I don't "side" with her.

In bans, a members opinion does not matter, it is for mods/supermods/admins to decide not him.

Milkdude99 told Brad that he is bordering on a global ban. He has no way to enforce this, so his saying is in no way valid. He should keep that opinion to himself because it's not up to him, it is up to the people running the forums.

Sorry I'm a bit late, I read the first post here a while ago and just forgot about this thread.

If these supermods are so confident they are doing a good job and the users like it, how about we have a poll to see if the users are happy with the work they have done ? And if they aren't, then they step down ?

I think that would be reasonable seeing as they believe they are doing a good job and the users like it.

I believe I am doing what Unixmad wants, he is the one who hired me for the job, I will step down if he tells me that I am not doing the job that he requires me to do...got it? Good
Its like in a real life job....if your boss tells you to do something a certain way, and you go against him and do it another way because people get upset at the way your boss told you to do it, you get fired.....got it? Good

I don't think Unixmad will get upset.

I don't even think Unixmad comes to these forums. Ever.

Unless to post 1 or 2 things then leave for a couple of months.

So you say it, the users don't like you or your new rules. So then obviously something is not good. You are not our mothers, nor should you pretend to be. Rules like "no talking about alcahol" is because you are acting like our mother, trying to shield us from this stupid world. We know about these things, we are not kids.

None of these new rules are necessary. At. All.

Nappa, those rules are all covered in the Graal rules anyway, so it really makes no difference at all...all we did was be specific. I'm not trying to be a mom, but I am a responsabile adult, and will act like one.

Why do you bring things like these up so much? You say people judge you by them unfairly, but you are the first one to use them to your advantage.

Where in the graal rules does it say we can't argue ? Where does it say in the graal rules we can't talk about alcahol ?

No.

It's not in the graalonline rules. If it was that simple, why not directly quote them or link to them, instead of writing new ones ?

I dont need to defend it at all, it is a word, and it was not made to bypass the filter, it isnt mispelled, there are no funny characters in it, there is nothing to defend.
