To be great..

Ive seen many great graphics artists on here, such as Scott, Galdor, and umm.. well nevermind the rest i forgot but to all who know their great well done from me. Anyway, ive noticed that these guys are great not only because they can make graphics, but because they use multiple styles. I applaud you guys on this. You have motivated me to try something i didnt think i would try, and it seems now that i have been hooked! for the past 8 hours i have been reading up on 'Pixel Art' and Isometric pixelling and stuff, so ive decided that is what i want to do asm my second style, in my road to greatness. (or to the brick wall that stops me from getting there, but ill see about that when im actually on this road, eh?)anyway, without further ado, and withotu any more of my smart comments, i want you guys to tell me what you think of this as my first attempt of pixelling isometrically. Also ignore the fact everything is all over the place, i like to copy an image ive already made before modifying it and keeping the original also, so that may explain why its messyish heh.

I find isometric art to be tedious, difficult, and worth while. Using standard geometric shapes to form art is fun. I find the basic concept of forming objects in isometric perspective is easy, it's giving them depth where the task becomes difficult. For a first try at isometric art, I'm very impressed. Could use some color to it, though. I would have to say keep going at it, and try to make more difficult shapes. Such as a sidewinding stair case perhaps? Good luck. On another note, I'm flattered I was mentioned there. However I wont take it seriously, considering you know nothing of me nor do the majority of the people here. I've made mistakes, and I've tried to prosper. :P Anyways, good art. Nice changed of feel to the forums. I can't remember the last time somone posted iso art.

i know nothing of you lol but ive seen enough of your work. at the end of the day this is the graphics forum, their reputation is based off their work, and you have produced good work in the past from what i seen on the forums. I dont have to know you to know you are a good gfx artist, Scott.

If your refering to what I think your refering to, than thats cool of you to admit that on the forums. Just in case I have not made it clear enough in the past: I am completely over it, I dont hold it against you anymore, and I think you've done a great job in general since then in regards of improving your talent and yourself.

Gerami is 70% texasian and 30% swede. ;D

But yeah, his translation is correct, that's Galdor cursing his keyboard after many lines of extreme typos. It was like 5 AM I believe. ^.^
