When you say ice cubes, that means we can use several cubes, correct? As long as we don't exceed any color limit, I mean.

Weeeeell, i started an attempt on a piece, but all i could really think of drawing was like, a shard of ice type thing, a spike as it were...

I don't think its too good to be honest, especially not the top bit, and of course it's unfinished. D'you guys reckon i should bother continuing?

Put something frozen inside it, and have it's image distorted from the refaction n stuff...

Thats how it usually is and I assumed people understood that.

And what do you guys think? Should animation be allowed?

I don't think im talented enough to put anything inside it and still manage to make it look as if it's actually inside, and distorted and stuff.

And i dunno bout flipping sideways, i just dont think it'd look like, y'know, a -shard- if its sideways, and if it had something in it then zzzzz it'd be sideways o_O

Use half transparrent colors, the best ones are in GIMP, go for a white with a bit blue, and for shading just increase the amount of blue.. hmm.. my theory that is ;O

Well I thought your suggestion for doing the ice was going against the honor system comment I made earlier. Using layers I guess and half transparent colors to make the ice look correct? I would rather you guys eye'd that sort of thing and just did it all by hand without any effects, like how Galdor managed to pull that off.
