newbie guide?

I use to play graal when it was free a long time ago and recently signed up for an account. I was wondering if there were any guides for newbies out there or if anyone could give me some advice to get started, everything is just so big right now and i can't figure out where to start

Actually, the other day I saw a Colonel of LOG making a futile attempt to recruit. They're still around, just rare.
