A formal apology.

I, Gantec Thorn, officially apoligize for the actions of myself and the Pirates of Crescent Island.

When entering the waters of Kurenai Joukai, we had no intention of warring.

To clear a few things up:

1.) There was no intention at all for Pirates to be renamed to 'The Black Cloak'. That guild is practically disbanned and is inactive.

2.) The Pirates will mostlikely rename themselves to the name of 'Crescent Pirates'. I am talking with Ghost Pirate and I am restoring the old ranking system that he had into place.

I propose a peace agreement for Pirates and Dustari. This is not an alliance, for this is a peace agreement.

Thank you for appologizing, I understand now you apparently didn't even know your pirates were attacking on shore while you were still in the hold and then disconnected.

On an RP level, I don't think a peace plan makes sense. CP is the hideout of pirates, run by a governor/head pirate. It is a gk kingdom, but rp wise it is pirates.

That's why when we retailiated in a raid, we came, we declared our purpose was to find the guilty parties, and that we would burn some of the buidings (rp only, no damage) in retribution if no one handed over those who did it.

We also stated we would not attack your shipyard, or wish to commit a full 'war' against cp. It was classic naval/pirate stuff, as it should be.

Our alliances that already exist, require us to defend anyone in our alliances, that is attacked. As such, we will not sign any agreement, that would prevent us from aiding our allies if they were attacked.

I like a great deal of the people in CP, I have some great friends in CP. RP wise, CP is a pirate group, and it doesn't make sense RP wise to sign a document with pirates...how can pirates agree to a legal document and not be totally ic if they break it later?

With that said, why would we agree to a treaty that RP wise, CP could IC break any time, it would not be very ic of us to do so.

When pirates attack KJ, zormite, or dustari shores, we will respond, always.

Im confused tho... If CP raided the shores of KJ (that being the offensive action CP now apologizes for) how does it make sense to offer a peace treaty to Dustari? I wasn't there....so just wondering....

So I think what you're saying is, CP moved into KJ waters without malicious intent and this was misinterpretted, I assume by KJ... who would have notified the Alliance and then responded in defense. Still I wonder why the peace treaty, offered along with an apology for an accidental offense to KJ territories, is offered to Dustari and not to KJ.

Well, my appoligy was directed towards Dustari, because when it came down to it, we only fought Dustari, no KJ's.

The reason I apoligized is for the misunder standing. You cant attack a kingdom when you have no cannon balls on your ship. When you try to dock, and your mayor is killed by icestorm from the leader of KJ, you have no real option other than to retreat. Therefore, the attack was started by the leader of KJ, not the Pirates, as we planned on visiting Forest and continueing to Dustari, completing a circle.

There were 3 ships of KJ there, including the Empress, you spoke with her even.

Also, you admitted on RC that you logged off and that you were not there when your people started to attack KJ at the shores.

Just because you didn't intend a war at first, ie, no cannonballs, doesn't mean your people did not leave the ship and begin a killing spree. KJ did not start the conflict, CP, apparently rogue CPers, did, and didn't seem to get in trouble for it until *after* our own ships were seen on the horizon from the CP coast.

Don't say one thing on RC then another in forums please.

Padren, did I say that? You twist people's words like no other.

What I said, was that when my ship arrived, we were attacked. After that, we retreated and went back to the island. If the others were pissed off because we were attacked and went back with cannon balls, that is beside the point. We should have never been attacked in the first place.

Uh, if you want another viewpoint on that little fight on the Kurenai shores, I can give mine.

The Black Baracuda, in which I was sailing with other crewmembers was following the lead ship, when we got sidetracked, in our Piratey lust for action, we sent some cannonballs into abandoned ships, and at a ship piloted by a strange madman.

We tired of that quickly, and continued to follow the lead ship. When we caught up with her, she and her crew was besieged by witch spells, and had even been boarded somewhat. We of course disembarked, and attempted to attack the magicians on land hurling the spells at the ship. That didn't work out to well, but anyways it seems like the mass of Pirates sailing about the Kurenai shores was took as hostile action, etc. But, we hadn't even planed on going on the Kurenai soil at all.

So, no one really started the fight, it was probably caused by confusion, and people just itching to try out spells on a boat full of suspicious pirates.

The war was fun, I saw Marquis own like 30 Pirates, Sin was being a idiot and entering B mode, Cast ice storm and then go Pmode -_-.
Apart from that i enjoyed it.

Do you just want to see me go to the trouble of digging out RC logs? I use the RC log function, I do have them mark.

I think Thak saves me the trouble nicely, he even said he did have cannonballs, which you denied or didn't know about. (You don't need cannonballs to go a shore anyway, so I don't understand your obsession with the factor) He bombarded boats, then chased one down, caught up, and got hit with spells.

Pursing a ship in KJ waters on a bombardmant spree is not the same as the 'innocently getting attacked by spells for no reason' story that you were attacked without provocation you've been pitching so far.

Its fine mark if you don't know what your pirates were up to, but don't magnanimously defend them when when you are apparently so out of touch with their actions.

I was totally wrong of your intentions then mark.
I was under the impression that Crescent pirates was to become the black cloak.

We're staying as Crescent pirates and bringing back GPs ranking system

thats the best news ive heard for CP in months...maybe somebody will do something right for the kingdom, lets just hope you dont get banned or bored like the others

Yeah, but honestly, on that one ship we attacked with the madman sailing towards Kurenai island. The crazy guy on board was screaming out stuff like 'Death to KJ', 'I'll get vengeance', and other strange ramblings.

I don't think Kurenai would mind if we harrased him a little, then sailed off again.

The truth is, I was at my castle when I received a message asking why the Gov was on our island. I looked on my map and seen where he was and I ran down to our south shores. When I arrived I found my shogun being pummled by Zal on our shores and others being attacked as well with swords and icestorm.
So I quickly came to thier defense and casted icestorm. Then I took out my weapon and started to defend shogun Hawk, but the two were moving to fast so I took out my wand and cast pools of chaos and that rid the pirates on land at time. We got on ship at port and followed the reteating vessels. One escaped but we caught up to another and boarded thier vessel and took care of that crew.
We then went back to our shipyards and prepared for counter attack.
Ahead of us I sent my head guard to investigate CP before we got there he came onto some pirates and was attacked and he in turn attacked them.
Before we entered the waters of CP First lady Alisa was notified of our intentions, that it would be a light hearted fight in attempts to RP revenge for earlier attack, and that is wasnt an attempt to conquer CP and none of thier ships or homes would be destroyed.
When we arrived there were many people in front of castle of CP.
Includiing Misty Di . Dustarians were already there. King Padren and I proceeded to try to talk diplomaticly to Misty when Mark came in, and seen her say something about Mark ordered them to attack and they wish he wasnt the leader or such. Mark ordered that his men not fight that it would be taken care of diplomaticly. However when he started insulting me saying that I would never be his First lady (as if I would of really left KJ for him) We laughed and that angered him and he ordered his men to rid us off the island. NY and Bosh then proceeded to PK Padren and I with thier bows and laming aura.
How can you say that KJ did not fight? That is an out right lie. My members got several of your members not bad for being "****s" like you always like to call my members . The fought and won and now you want to dismiss them by saying they didnt fight. I chose my men over your high level members anyday they are faithful to thier kingdom and are willing to lay down thier lives for it. They aren't worried about thier egos like most of your high level people are including yourself.
Later that night in RC Mark, Padren and I were discussing his post of apoligy because I responded to something he had said but has now deleted in his post and he deleted my post as well.

the truth is, i saw a ship full of pirates approaching our shipyard,
i went down there and saw then bombing our shipyard door...
then on the coast, a pirates (i think it was sin) tried to attack me... he didnt actually got thrugh my ac but still... so i fought back... then nayoko and alter marquis arrived and we killed the pirates multiple times while they were not even able to touch us...

how can it be missinterpreted when i am attacked by someone?
and by the way, if it wasnt an attack, why have all the pirates been in b-mode?

We were having an RP-expidition type thing... It's best to be in Bmode to add that extra shaving of realizing in case things like this actually do occur...

The treaty says this:
Pirates can't attack Dustari.
Dustari can't attack Dustari.

It says nothing about Dustari attacking pirates... kind of stupid treaty... pirates are just saying "We won't attack you."... x.x I see nothing to gain x.x
