No way. It's hard enough to hit people even ONCE with a bow. You make them un-preppable or nerf the rate of fire, and you'll never see a bow being used again. And besides that, even less people will worship Aengus...and you know how many people worship him already. -_-

As of now anyone with decent wc and a bow can DOMINATE anyone with a melee weapon. That is NOT fair.

Rate of Fire of a may be good, but any person who doesn't stand around and smack you without moving would completely own a guy with a bow. You don't even need to be that fast. Even with like, 2 speed, you can easily dodge arrows. And most people on B mode have like, 3+ speed.

Besides, what good is rate of fire like that if it can't hit anything?

When a bow guy can shoot and run with such powerful arrows at that rate, by the time you catch up to them, you're dead.

He runs away from you and clicks on you a million miles an hour. By the time you're lucky enough to get ONE hit youre at 5 hp.

There is (reflect missile) but it doesn't work yet. The main problem with bows is that the explosions - and the number of them, mainly - cause some lag which can keep players stuck in the storm, in a manner of speaking. If the explosions were removed/nerfed, it would improve things.

When you get his you freeze for a .2 seconds. Now if thats a bile bow or gov bow, your dead in around 5 seconds and 10 arrows.

At places like Agincourt, the English longbows could go through even full plate at about 100 yards. Bows aren't too powerful, the damage is realistic. Rate of fire: yes, it's too fast, but bows have got to have something to attract people to use them.
The explosions should go though, they are waaay too laggy.

Everything on GK is unbalanced. If you nerf bows, then you have to nerf magic, gods, events items, etc.

I'll just add a bit in this case. It's also not fair that anybody with +10 on EVERY armour can completely dominate anbody who doesn't, but i don't see you complaining about that, brad, do i? Nope, because the people who don't have all this leeto enchants and stuff are your specific targets. If they stand a chance of attacking back, you don't think it's fair? Go get a brain, brad. And stop making copy posts of topics that have already been discussed countless times before.

And yeah, about aengus - he already has like half the amount of worshippers he should because his bow hasn't even been made properly so you can't use it :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

Nerfing is a bad idea.

Most people run around with their fids and kick everyone's ass. It's nice to see them get nuked when they try.

100% would be a bad thing, I'd say maybe a 30% chance or something of reflection, since hitting a person is very rare itself.

Amulets reflect magic not melee weapons. Think about it.

Reflect missile reflects the bullet spells and stuff, reflect magic reflects lightning, steambolt, etc...

Reflect Missles is supposed to block arrows, my Tower Shield has the effect, but it doesnt work.

I can dominate anyone who has a bow and is below my level so I am not complaining about that. I am complaining about the players stronger than me who I can normally dominate who use a bow like a lamer and dominate me. Bows are OVERPOWERED. Lower speed, lower damage, anything. I don't even care what. And I do have all +10 armor, but I sure as crap dont have a dragon amulet. I use a sustenance amulet actually bud. If reflect missiles worked I WOULD wear it. God, you are so dumb. Everytime I read one of your messages I want to stab myself with bologne.

And reflect magic doesn't, so that's nonsense. Go GK system.

Anyway, bows should be nerfed in firing rate, and yes get rid of the stupid explosions. I'd say you also have to nerve the speed of close combat weapons, but it's close combat - with a bow you can stand out of range and hurt a DAMN lot. Perhaps there should be a minimum distance between shooter and target.

- Get rid of the explosions
- Nerf the firing rate
- Get a minimum shooting distance
- Perhaps you'd have to span the bow... The longer you span it, the further it goes and the higher the damage is. So if you've spanned it for like, 2 seconds, it does 30% of your max damage.

In my experience, yes - it reflects incoming spells if you're lucky, but it will also reflect your own spells, trapping them in front of you, if you're not.
