Webmaster for graal.....

Why dont we have one? If they are able to run a lot of web server/graal servers with high bandwith then why cant you hire a webmaster that can fix the graal sites & do all of thos projects that you say are not done.....like with the guild manager if you had a webmaster he could change it to MySQL & we would not have any problems with it at all......

galens not the webmaster he just works on the page every once in a while like every a month a webmaster would actually have good sql and stuff like that in a site

Galen can do it but they dont pay him so he has no time & even if they did, they give him too much work to be the webmaster......like I said they need a web master so they can do every thing needed on the site

Do you even know what you're talking about? There is. There doesnt need to be any improvements.
Just fixes when things go wrong, and even though Galen's on hiatus, he does just that.

you know they say that they want to be professional but when your site looks like crap & nothing works on it, I dont think too many people will want to go there.....

The www.graalclassic.com page doesn't look good to me.

But I like www.graal2001.com

the Graal site does not look like crap
if you are talking about the Classic one, it looks great but could use improvements. As for problems/things dont work, i just explained that Galen does fix them every once in a while.
The g2k1 site is one of best designs I've ever seen. I wish i had the skills to do stuff like that.

Well I do know what I am talking about & the guild system is not owrking because of the way it is set up....in other words it is currently flat file & not SQL.....also there have been a ton of projects that galen said he was going to do but cant because he was fixing some other problem or didnt have the time......we expect too much from Galen as it is we shoudl not make him run 2 larg web sites.......& thinking of that once NW is out there will be another site to "fix"....

They didnt pay the guy that made the graal 2001 site to be the webmaster.....they had him make it & leave

SQL is not a database. SQL is a language. mySQL is a free database that utilizes the SQL language to access it. There are other , not free of databases out there that are MUCH more powerful and MUCH more reliable.

yes I know the differnce between SQL & MySQL....but the graal server uses MySQL....

Im a webmaster but I only really do the design/layout and programming side of things =) not the GFX!
