Graal goes grey O.o

When i change the display depth of the screen, say from 32bpp to 16bpp, graal goes grey, and i cant do anything, and i have to restart graal :|

Any chance to fix?

Graal does also gray if you open NetMeeting...And RC get errors when you open it.

Try switching to fullscreen, then back.

Someone said it would fix a problem i had with something else, it did, but graal fux0red.

Several old games/editors change the color depth.

This is about Graal and changing your display depth, where did Netscape come from?

Anyway, with most programs and games that take up much resources it screws up your game when you change your monitor display settings (excluding the brightness, gamma, contrast, etc, for the monitor) and the game screen goes gray, white, black -- whatever; point is, close all your programs and edit that stuff.

The game would need to reload all the resources when the display settings are changed. Most of the time it is the game itself that changes the stuff (going to fullscreen). To react to changed display settings in window mode it needs to somehow catch the right window message, I can check if that is possible.

I would open up spy++ and spy the message, but meh.
