Yeah Stefan... I know you told me you wanted this, but you havn't done anything

If a better Farming system is implanted then I will reupgrade to gold.

Pretty much it's broken down into three major groups.

Farm Buildings
==============================================
Fencing
-Last time I checked, Fences and such are destroyable. Last time I had a farm all of my fences were destroyed, ruining the farm. So maybe there could be a way for someone with H rights to lay down fences which can not be destroyed, just moved by others with H rights. The Fences should also block in any animals within (Horses, etc) so they cant just run away.

Smaller Buildings
-There needs to be a way to make smaller houses. Half the Cost, Half the needed supplied, Half the size. The main purpose would be for stables, blacksmith workshops, hired worker quaters, and storage. It would allow much larger farms and easier production.

Fence Gates
-There is the fortification gate, so why not a Fence Gate? One which matches well with the wooden fences. It would work the same way.

Flower Garden
-Self explainitory, there are three shapes for these gardens. Two are rectangles and another is square. (Example: If it is measured in units, then garden #1 would be 1x4; Second would be 4x1; Third would be 4x4. Or something like that. The flowers require watering.

Wells
-Wells can only be approved by someone with H rights.

Flora

Regular Crops
-Like corn, these crops will grow fast without much work. These crops include Tomatoes, Potatoes, Green Beans, etc.

Advanced Crops
-These crops are unlike corn. These crops take a while for them to grow, possibly a couple of real life days. The thing is that these crops wont die unless the owner destroys it. These crops work like houses do. They would have a percentage untill death and that percentage goes up when you water it. From 100% it would take atleast two weeks to get to 0%. These crops include Apples, Oranges, Banannas, etc.

Animals

Produce Animals
-YES ANIMALS! Like Cows and Mandrakes and stuff... just make it like the rest, Only they give off produce.

I would love if something like this was implemented. I'd probably play a lot more if it was possible to do things other than level as well.

I like these ideas, specially the advanced crops and the animals. As for houses, I'd like the idea if customizable houses in general, say add a basement, a right and a left wing - not too much, but with the right requirements it'd work.

Anyway, there's one thing I must do...

But man I swear... if you implant these ideas then I will reupgrade. This is the reason on why I quit in the first place. Because some jackass destroyed my huge farm!

I think i already suggested buildable wells and blacksmith workshop stuff...

Crops that need more RL days to grow are a wonderfull idea
but make it so that the plants cant be stolen by someone else, and the harvested stuff should actually give a reasonable ammount of plat, not only 2 plat and 5 silver...

Satrek's idea is also great (i think it has also been suggested yet)

C'mon Stef, its almost christmas

And like Zurk, i will re-upgrade in 85 days (when gold runs out) if you add this

This is impossible to do. Inside my house, i've seen some of my horses just trot straight up my walls and onto the black bit around the house. Honest to Bile, straight up the wall!

Other than that, all the ideas rock. It'd be like harvest moon, except on Graal, except not harvest moon because then Natsume would come and take stefan's nuts =X
It'd come with large roleplaying capabilities, too. Life on the farm, not to mention providing food for your kingdom...

Also thought about Harvest Moon when i read this

I think the horse-goes.thru-wall bug has been fixed.. still they can just walk through fences (like players :o )

Samurai actually HAS a farm with a seeds shop, wells and fields.. but it was added with debug

(Samurai had a very active LAT, still doing everything with debug isnt very rpish...)

Exactly...

When I had my farm... that is all I RPed as, a large farmer. But some jackass destroyed my farm fences and I lost all my livestock.

2k2 was built for a reason. It's in it's names. I like to call that reason RPing Kingdoms.
