Wondering About Updates

What projects or additions are being worked on? I am just wondering if there's anything to expect in the near future other than kingdoms. How are they doing?

Basically kingdoms is it. My guess is that there will not be anything drastically new for a while.

Alternatives:

- Auction Villas, Playerhouses, Rare Hats (Beer Goggles. There's only one of them.)
- Release bomy-bopots
- Restock bamboo rod skins or make new ones
- New events, mini-games
- More player customization (changing your appearance)

Basically, people are only buying hats. Dolls aren't popular at all. Money is being inflated and a lot of people control the hat market and run the economy by monopolizing with others. They buy about 6 hats of the same type when hat shops first open. Another person does the same. This runs the values out the wazoo!

Somebody should think of something that will suck the rich players dry. Maybe a betting system or place to gamble like a casino. I have ideas for the red forest or green forest with a lot of space for building:

Caer Xahn - Mysterious island that is now a giant amusement park/city.
1. Castle Ruins - Home of the island guardian, Goronos.
2. Mount Lavastorm - Rollercoaster ride located in Make-be-leaf Gardens.
3. Snow Way - Frozen lake, used for ice skating in Make-be-leaf Gardens.
4. Treasure Square - Play fun arcade games and more in Make-be-leaf Gardens.
5. Spooksville - Haunted house, graveyard and inn located in Make-be-leaf Gardens.
6. Dusk vs. Dawn - Play this fun group game. (Two teams of five or more, must either be a moutain, tree, lake, house and field of flowers. When night falls, one team must race for the middle towards the point of balance. When morning comes, the other team must do the same. Every once in a while, a meteor or some other disaster will occur and injure you. If you are destroyed then you are reborn at the starting point. The team with the most players in the equilibrium wins. You must get all of your team in the middle to win.

Heh, sounds like Graal2001 is going to be nice, kingdoms, an update graal tileset, a better overworld, new bodies, and other stuff.
it could use a gui, i have a gui, but it's mainly RPG like. i have tons of guis i don't use, people donate them to me @_@ DoD did, when they turned into "Wasteland"

I dont think g2k1 needs a gui, it's fine the way it is. I like g2k1 mainly because in my opinion it's a mix of classic with just new stuff. But, that's my opinion.

Chris, what kind of improvments?

Hmm, well, maybe i have an idea, have a option, you can choose classic mode that's mainly for PKing classic lovers, has the gold gui and mainly non-rp stuff, and then there is a RP mode with a nice RPG style gui, rpg items, all that good stuff, and players can switch between modes.
And if you do make a new tileset, that would rock, taking the current one and updating it, would be nice to see the same graal tileset, same graphics, just updated

Why? Why waste time and energy (there's only 2 active graphics people I beleive) into 3 guis? New items you said for an rpg gui... what the hell? I dont understand what you're trying to say.

you're probably thinking of Tseng's "New State," that's not what I was talking about, this predates that. But that was prety cool also.

Beer Goggles shouldn't be auctioned, I paid quite a bit for it just because it's unique ^_^

I bought most of my hats from other players, if you're referring to me, no one is forced to sell them.

Thank you. I worked hard on it. Ever seen "Spirited Away?" That movie gave me the basic idea of an amusement park on a far away island of much strangeness. Hehe.
