Kingdom Idea Submissions!

Yes, the application is finally ready! Here's how it works:

We're going to accept applications for a week or two, and then a council of 3-5 of us will be voting over which ideas sound the best! Applications will be judged on creativity, detail, theme, and how well their kingdom can integrate into our world. The 3-4 best kingdoms that we select will be added to the overworld; but we warn you that there is no guarantee that you will rule the kingdom. This is just an ideas submission. However, the creators of the kingdoms that we do use will at the very least receive some type of prize (TBA). The goal of this is to have the most interesting and creative kingdoms possible, to make playing the server and RPing more interesting!

applications can be mailed to [email protected] with the subject "[Account] - [Kingdom Name] Idea"

Without further ado, here is the application:

1)Kingdom Name. Most basic part of it. Please, no names like 1337, Hax0r, etc. Try to make it interesting but don't overdo it!

2)Kingdom Disposition: is your kingdom a warmongering one? Peaceful? Describe the general Kingdom attitude.

3)Kingdom's Pros: What is your Kingdom good at? Can you call down meteors to level towns (too extreme), or merely produce exellent quilts (more reasonable)?

4)Kingdom's Cons: No Kingdom is perfect. Except a Utopia (which is impossible). So, list your imperfections here.

5)Kingdom's History: Did your kingdom migrate to the Lands of so and so from the Islands of Blah? List how your kingdom got to the point it will start at. Using facts from the server can help you here!

6)Kingdom's Status: Have you already started making your Kingdom's levels and other resources? If so, list here.

7)Kingdom's Needs: Do you need scripters for complex scripts in the kingdom? More Level artists? Special GFX? If so, please list them here.

8)Kingdom's Ideal Future: If all goes according to plan, what would your kingdom be? A huge powerhouse ruling the world? A harmonious city-state? Or perhaps a secluded little hamlet? List your future plans here.

9)Kingdom's Rank Structure: How does power chart out? Is a Paladin ahead of a general or vice versa? Does your kingdom use Necromancers or Archbishops? Post it here.

10)Any other things you want us to know about your Kingdom in making our decision.

Let's try to get new kingdoms with new ideas. Not Dustari with a new name and some new levels thats not what they want. Yeah it is hard to get around the same ranking system and those sorts but lets have different ideas

The idea is all-new kingdoms. No old ones at all!

That's a good idea as long as all new kingdoms means all new levels. Otherwise the idea is the same old crap. Personally I think all former kingdom levels should be removed from the sever entirly since those kingdoms no longer exist.

I definitely agree with you there. I'm sorry I wasn't clear earlier; by no old kingdoms, I meant no old kingdom levels as well - No more "Inra" or "Senbotsu" or whatever they were called type things.

i'm not gonna submet a kingdom, i just wanna say that we need some sort of pirate kingdom

not "pirate crew" but like a pirate kingdom would be cool!

Dunno this may be already posted im too lazy to look but how about 4 different kingdoms Each represent a Element?
One fire one water one earth and one wind (i think o.o)

Yesterday was the last day to submit kingdoms.

They will be read, examined, and voted upon within the next week.

By a council consisting of: Tseng, James, Ghost Pirate, Gryffon, and Nappa (as substitute for CheeToS since he was not online), Kingdoms have been chosen! See the "New Kingdoms" thread + poll for more information!
