It's smaller than Golbez's. If the limit is 300, then a signature image mod/hack should be put in place. www.vbulletin.org would have it mostly likely.

edit: it is not more than 300 pixels, right click the image and go to properties.

Perhaps next time specify that. I assume it used the basics of the avatar, having same width and height limites.

Why on earth would we make a 300 pixel width limit? This isn't rocket science, dude.

Why on earth? I know some forums that dont even allowe signatures due to the fact some people cant control their urge to make stupid signatures. And what is, in fact, the width limit on a sig? As I see nothing to inform us of this. (Check FAQ pages)

Wow... Am I causing trouble?

Also, I dont think it's fair to 'limit' my sig length. All i'm doing is showing i like something... If I HAVE to, I wil change it, otherwise...

But it's fair to inconvenience other users with your stupidly-big signature? We don't want to have to scroll through pages of sigs just to read the posts.

Good, because you do.

Yes, that's what I asked you.

There hasn't been the need to formally define one. If we did, I imagine that it would be somewhere around 600 pixels.

I thought I asked you to stop being stupid.

1) Having freedom to choose any type of sig is not in any way connected to democracy.
2) We're not suppressing self-expression by limiting the size. We're just making the board more convenient for other users.

Signature width has little to do with how much you have to scroll up/down to read the next post's text.

I did not know it was a matter of laziness in scrolling down.

Do you have trouble reading? Kaimetsu clearly stated that it's an issue of inconveniencing other users by forcing them to scroll through all of the large signature images.

I must have trouble reading, or the fact I dont quite consider it a "inconvenience" to scroll down. Whatever, I suppose I'm just messing around. :o

Hail, comrads!

Yes, the signature thing has some merit, but why can't you talk about MMORPGS? Especially ones like PSO and Diablo 2 (hint those aren't mmorpgs)

Democracy? What's that?

No, you're just being foolish. Would you not complain if a signature extended to a height of a million pixels? You might be more tolerant than most of this egocentric practice, but everybody has their limits.

Wow... ya know, I love it when people get into fights over foolish things... but until I get a notice saying that my sig's are too big. Until then, I spose your gonna have to click on more time on that gap between the arrows... LOL
