Our server is ready to go private just i would liek to know does it have to get over looked by the pw inspectors first before we pay for it to go private or is it that there is no longer going to be pw inspectors? im being told many things that our server wont go up and blah blah blah and if i pay for it, it still has to go though pw inspectors and whatever else not and is the date still june 23

for us to be payinf for our player worlds?

lol sorry im tires its 3 am i just got off of work ok basicaly if we pay for the server does it still need to go though a pw inspector in order for it to go private?

Thats what want, so we can have a reward for people who can actually get within a certain standard, I see it as only fair to do so.

Mh it would be best to make it cheaper if you pass requirements.

It might be a good idea to inspect each PW again every 6 months or so, for stolen material and if it's still good, if it isn't good anymore then give it 3 months time to improve

I think it'd be better to see if they improved 3 months into their payed time, and if they didn't make enough progress, to then tell them they have 3 months... Thus, if they didn't improve by then it'd be time to re-upgrade and it'd be a higher price.

Yes, agreed. They are made of a bunch of non-developers, normal players. They clearly do not have the skills required to inspect a PW - true inspectors would have the greatest skills and be recognized by the graal community for their skills, then a true inspection could be done, and only quality would pass them.

Well from what I have heard, taking into account I only heard this it may or may not be true, Houdini was apparently asking to see stuff but kept asking and asking or something.

He is right, you know. PWA is really at best nothing more than a figurehead so to speak. Yeah, you have a tiny bit of power, but that power is only for pretty much reviewing worlds and doing what Nemesis askes of you. Not so, if you are a Developer you may have a bias against a certain style of doing things.

I just asked to be warped out of the chat thing they have so i could inspect, and i thought it was the left over paranoia from earlier posts just resisting inspection for fear information might be released. I left empty handed so as to keep the uproar to a minimum and was later informed by nemesis that it is a "stefan server" and we aren't to inspect it. I sent my sincere appologies for my mistake but he's hell bent on trying to do everything he can to hurt me.

And by the way, smart guy, i've been a scripter for 4 years. I know enough to inspect and duplicate at least half the npcs on your world assuming it lives up to it's "fabulous" publicity you spew at every possible convienience. Your screen shots are quite disappointing though compared to the hype you spill onto the forums.

There really isn't much publicity put out by Soul-Blade. He shows off a few things here and there. Oh and, it's mainly the people that see the screenshots that work up all the hype for the playerworld. You see, people see the screenshots, and if they like it, they get worked up. That's where all this "hype" you're talking about comes from.

A scripter is only part of the development. There's far more to it than just scripting

Soul-Blade does have a point. It does give you a much better point-of-view if you have experience doing playerworld development. Heck, if I didn't have my hands tied with my own PW, I could easily make a spot on the PWA without too much effort. I have pretty much had my hand in practically all the facets of making a playerworld and still do
