Pet Improvements

I had a good idea that I think would make pets better.

1. When the pet is old enough, you could play a special melody on the flute, such as - at your house, the pet would associate that melody with that place. Then when you took it out somewhere, and played that special melody it would run back home. The reason I don't like to take horses or pets out of my house is because if I get disconnected I loose it.

eg. You play the melody like 30 times in your house, then you get a message telling you that the pet will return home if you play the melody.

2. Im not sure if this is a good idea or not, but when your near a boss (further away so you cannot hear it) you could teach your pet to sniff it out or something, like feed it a evil lord bomy heart, and it will sniff out one if it was reasonably close.

Using pets as sniffers would be nice - maybe give the non-horse pets some ability to smell lords or so, then make a lash so you can use them as tracers.
For the horses, have you tried a peg? When I get disconnected while riding, the horse remains, when I reconnect it's running arround close by. If it's pegged and fed, you don't have to worry about losing it for a bit.

yea I did know about pegs, but my horse disoppeared when I got off it today *sniff* lol.

I remember that king of thing happening when horses were added... never happened to me since - maybe it was some king of accident °°
