So... when is G2K1 going classic?

I mean, come on. This is still the best server and no one plays it. STEFAN AND UNIXMAD, MAKE IT CLASSIC FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. It needs players! I want to play on it, but not if I'm by myself. Also, delete more crappy playerworlds, but it's pointless to say that because you guys never make logical decisions anyway.

Stefan doesn't want to delete the PWs, as its ashame for the peoples hard work, although some could certainly do with the axe.

And secondly G2K1 is UC is it not? So it wouldnt be ready for classic. Besides I think they need to fix that train of theres which nobody has fixed in like a year! Also I dont think Stefan wants it classic until there is atleast another addition to gold such as 3D Kingdoms.

By the looks of it most of the people who play kingdoms are ****ies who just upgraded from Classic. The only server they know is Kingdoms and we need to show them how great Bomy Moon can be when there are alot of players. This wont be a bad thing it will revive what the players loved most about bomy moon the kingdoms.

I played G2k1 on and off for about a month and I thought it was one of the best I've ever played. If it ever goes classic I'll start playing there more.

=D

And there is no point in supporting it to stay gold. As it needs players to be fun, and with no players nobody else plays =[

2k1 died a long time ago, when people started making it into somthing else then itself. The problem is people, as well as repeditive content, why work on a game to have "fun?"

It was a great server, but it's gone now, well that feeling that it had.

Move on with it, do a new server with the same gameplay but filter out the flaws of the past. It will work out if you stick to it.

Perhaps, than, you can tell me why 2K1 was a great server when the only job was fishing.

Because it was new, and the only thing to do after playing on Classic for a long time. People needed a change of pace, they pushed the server to become better. Same thing is going on with 2002. It's not the best graal can do, but it's the best thing right now, but then again, look at the population of Era and Unholy Nation, UN uses the same basics as 2k1 did, and it's thriving.

You may ask why, that's because it revolves around community not economy, and when you unbalance one of those two the balance is no more. Then again, I'm just saying what i've seen on UN from the 5 mintues I spend there once a week.

2k1 was revolutionary. I played on it for the period of 3 months after I initially upgraded (only for 3 months) and thought it was the greatest. Then kingdoms came out. Kingdoms is everything now =p New tilesets, better NPC's, more to do. It is pointless to play on an outdated server with no players =/

Jobs to not make a server great. What made 2K1 great was its easy access, customizability, player interaction, roleplaying, etc. The lack of all of these things is why Graal "kingdoms" is horrible horrible horrible.

I'm really happy that 2k1 will be switched.

When I left the forums awhile back it was still up in the air; nobody was really sure of which way it would go.

The server is great, I love it. I love the heavy trading aspect, the strong economy and just the general community. But when it goes to classic it will get classic players, many of which will PK. It might not be a bad idea to disable weapons outside of sparring and events for a few weeks so that people actually get what 2k1 is about.

Finally! Well they better hurry up and do whatever they are doing. And get that train working. As its going to be failry jam packed. Thats cool. If they get some good jobs and remove that lagy, non-pkable, ugly walking and body and HP system, I'll be right there.

Graal2k1 will beat UN if he gets on the serverlist. I would deffinatly start playing again, i played that server all the time, and there was lots of fun times on that server.

Well it can go 3 ways:

1) Nobody Like it
2) Takes players from highcount PWs, so they have like 70-90 tops
3) Take all players from other PWs so they all have 1-3 tops

Thats because they thoguht they were staying as gold. And needed to make alot of new things to amuse us. But if they are going to classic, then they can basically open with nothing new. Although something new would be good for us golders who have seen it all before.

I will not let it open with nothing new. At the very least, things have to be fixed, errors need to be corrected, things need to be balanced, etc.

And, we have a lot of interesting new things coming...

Oh good, Im looking forward to the new things. You should get rid of all of those trees and do something with them, make some sort of towns or tribes, but still surrounded by trees, so the way in is by train or by underground. And out of interest, is the train fixed?

Well since it's going to go classic, I'll just arrage some time table changes.

I was planning to make a playerworld based on the graal2001 history, releasing parts of it little by little in "update" packs every friday, introducing a new part of the world or a new city, based on an MMORPG gameplay setting, but don't get ahead of me gameplay wise, it's somthing you guys haven't seen before in any game. Combat wise that is.
