Its pretty stupid when your low hp and you can't enter. It should be like you need a certain level to into or stats. Maybe exp. Because thats kinda pathedic when a level 14 guy wants to go in but he can't since low hp.

Just heal yourself and go in? How hard is that?

You can only enter the haunted house if you got over so much hp.

A long time ago I went into the haunted house to fight gloks ..

.. and this was at level one, with 8HP. O_o

If you just died and you have something like 30/90 HP you won't be allowed in. Just heal so you have 90/90 and go in....

I think the main problem with that system is that you have to wait a while before you can get your stuff back once you've dies - given you can't heal yourself...
