You should use the thread, otherwise you'll get tons of people posting the same things, or worse, the same really really bad ideas.

At least in the forums, people can see if 'lances' was suggested 12 times or not, and not email you with the same stuff other people are.

Doors that can be set to stay open by the house owner, in the case of shops.
Maybe a command to lay down like /sit where it makes it look like you're lying down. (For RP purposes. ^.^; )

Apple Trees

You dig up the seeds, plant it like corn seeds, water like corn seeds cept it would take alot more water, chop with the lumber axe, tree falls, 10 apples fall with it, End.

What Chris said, apple trees would make sense, we already have a tree GFX, and Apple GFX, c'mon, scripting wouldn't be too hard for that, I think.

Probably.

The apples would be special NPCs like the worms - they don't stack when first dropped, instead they sit there and rot. If you take too long picking them up, you get a Rotten Apple instead of an Apple. A Slightly Rotten Apple is good for Cider, a Rotten Apple is only good for seeds, and of course a regular apple is good for feeding to pets or eating in dungeons for a tiny boost.

I meant that ONLY someone with a key to the house can change.
It's a pain when people close the door to your shop when they leave. Or, make it so you can set the door from locked to unlocked and vice-versa.

Ahh....I see, well, it wouldn't make too much sense, because if a door is locked, but open, you can still close it, but can't open after closing it.

1) Two Handed weapons
2) More sports like sking (wow maybe the ski's can work or be useful =_=)
3) New stat picking system for new server i.e.

You have a bar like this ||||||||||||||||||||
then you drag each bar into a bigger stat total bar:

now depending on your class (which you would pick first) you would have different slots change.....MAKE BARBAIANS LIKE - 6 int

4) Make stat increasing spells a set ammount

5) Make barbarians not being able to be literate

6) Have the class preist be the only one to tap into the god prayers but people with piety can bless and get god benifets/... opposite of benifet

7) Same with sorcerers make them the best at spells and they have a better damage on spells(....ouch well say hi to the item list)

Maybe eliminate classes altogether, so that there is no set thing, anyone can be good at anything, but not everything. This + stat selection=my suggestion.

What about this, it's kinda nonsense but a nice gimmick - a door spy, you stand inside a house beside the door, press A and get to see a small region outside the house. No idea whether that'd work, it's just a small idea...

And another one - could it be made that you can set the length of a horse peg's rope, so you can keep it in sight but keep it from running in your pickaxe?

About houses -

.. a way to communicate with people inside (of a house of course) if you're outside. PMing doesn't go well if you're trying to RP with multiple people.

Also..

methinks death should be changed to something like the way you die in RP areas on GBM. You die, and stay dead for a while, except you stay where your body is. That way, later on, the Reincarnation and Resurrection prayers will have a use (maybe potions of life too).

Perhaps the mode you're in affects how long you wait (2:30 minutes for peaceful 5 minutes for battle). Or something. I can give it more thought and make it more logical, but I need to know if it's do-able.

OH. .. and implement weapon speed! Major cheapness when a huge and bulky Inferno Sword is moving as fast as a quick and light Katana, Short Sword, etc. It'd REALLY help things out.

.. and perhaps some more measures could be taken to balance mages and fighters .. heh. .. but do the other things first.

I've got a lot more ideas, but I've got little time. Expect more from me later ..

Inferno sword isn't really bulky, and katans aren't really fast, they're heavy, but Kodaichi on the other hand...

Holy cow, mages are already strong enough Their magic is 2x more stronger! What more do you want!?! Icestorm takes out like 100 of my health and it shouldnt, I think that mages should become more balanced because right now its stupid that a level 1 can cast icestorm and take out a huge portion of my health. The magic damage should increase as your magic level increases, same with prayers, implement this!!

every spell should have a "base" damage, which is how much damage it does at it's level (like, small lightning is a level 1 spell, so it's base is at level 1, whereas create pool of chaos is a level 10 spell, so it's base is at 10) then, the more you level up, the more damage each spell does (base it off of level in magic/wisdom, not stats.) so...a level 10 magic person would do more damage with icestorm than a level 1 person. I don't know what formula would be appropriate to balance this, but I'm sure it can be done.

I hope you realize my post was based off of DX's, we've both been wanting it to be based off of magic/wisdom level for a long time, so usually whenever he posts on the matter, I extend it further.

um...some of us sometimes leave the keyboard to get a drink and stuff, I'm not sure how you manage to maintain living at a keyboard, but I sure as hell know I need to go AFK sometimes to get food, and with how strong spells are, sometimes 30 seconds is enough to kill someone.

If you can run at roughly the same speed or greater than the fighter, then you have the advantage, otherwise, he does.
