X_X, I've never used mudlib, but you dont script it. its exclusive, kinda like NPCs server used to be... Its a server add-on.

This is the part where the stuck up debug crew tells you that you can't do it

( hopefully they'll get ticked and give you something to work with now )

I remember Stefan saying once GK is finished, and they move on to another project, the mudlib will be released to all servers which want it, like the NPC server. So, wait until then.

"Stuck up debug crew"? Wow, I feel loved. I'm not stuck-up, but what good does it do you? It's like learning about calculus when you're being a vetranarian, about useless, lol. You can't use it, and I don't think they're all that simple. I have semi-NC and I've been trying to play with them a bit, and the simple things are easy, but when it gets down to it, it's all in the mind of Stefan. Jag knows a bit, but other than him, Tyhm would know some. There is one other person who has NC, but I can't think of his name x-x. So the list of people who can actually test them would be: Jagen, Tyhm, Stefan and I. Short list, so I could give you tons of mudlibs docu's, but it wouldn't help I'm afraid. But if you direly direly want it, I'll ask Stefan if I can release the docu.

Wow, I feel loved.

Practically, the MudLib handles a lot of RPG-like stuff (dealing damage, items, experience) internally and provides handy functions to GScript.
I hardly know how to use it myself, though.

sounds like it would control attributes based on a text system that npcs could check for events and conditions to change in the player's screen... that would be pretty cool

You are thinking of Amon Ra, or however that name is?

I also often mix up people, but they hardly seem to notice, so I do not tell them :]

Mudlibs are a great tool, but without appropriate support and help by someone who really knows them, there is no use even bothering.

Amen to that! and it is AmonRa! I was going to say anU but I knew it wasn't him. Ja, it isn't that I get you guys mixed up, it's that I keep thinking you guys are the same people, although you're completely different and I know you both as inviduals and you live on completely different sides of the world (almost). He he.
