Deaths?

Well, one of the main things that gets annoying about dying, is that if you've just walked a long distance to somewhere, and get killed, you'll be sent all the way back to your last saved restart position. So how about this:

When you die, any damage you took greater than your HP will be shown as negative HP, with everyone getting AT LEAST -10. You'll perfom a gani of falling over backwards, and you'll be lying on the ground with your negative HP. Anything you drop will be scattered in the area around you, and monsters will stop regarding you as a target as you lie there. As you lie there, your HP will slowly recover back up to 0. When it does, you will stand up with half HP (So you don't get killed right away again). Also, people will be able to drag you away as you lie on the ground.

I know it's a little complicated, but this way, when you die, you'll actually be out of action for a while too.

You're in a treasure cave, you die, wow, you're just down for a few seconds and now you can retreat, grab your items, heal, and beat the cave with no worries... that's why it's not the best idea around x.x

That would be nice, but yeah, you should just respawn at the beginning of dungeons, saying that some magic force pushed you away, saying "You're not worthy.", or something.

Ahem, now this just makes it so you can't really die in dungeons anymore...and -10 hp is nothing, I recover that much in a few seconds.

No, 10 is fine because people will lag the server dieing all the time. Well, mabey 20 or 30, that way other people can cast ressurection and bring you back to life.

Anyway, even if that idea isn't used, this could be a good one:
When you die, you fall back, your dead. You will be warped away to the last safe point in 20 or so seconds. In that amount of time you can be ressurected... Almost like using a Fenix Down in FF games.

Ok...modified a bit.
Instead of -10, a formula like -5*level or something.
So a level 12 person would have to wait for -60 HP to recharge.
As I said, the monsters wouldn't attack you, but considering they killed you, and your items scattered around you, they'd probably pick those up, so if you wanted them back, you'd have to chance fighting them again. (Which might very well end up in your death again. I mean, if they already killed you once..)

Somewhat good, I guess, but either way, it's gonna make strong people stronger...
I think Ressurection should work like this-you cast it on yourself, and if you die while the spell is in effect, your health goes to full, and you don't die. Of course, this would be disabled in Sparring Arenas.
