I think instead of dropping money to the ground, you should drop it in a corpse. If you were PKed, then the PKer gets a fraction of your money (like 10%, maybe.) If you don't collect your stuff in about 24 hours, then the corpse decays and everything drops to the ground.

Make it so each level you get 5 minutes more on your corpse.
Lets say im level 20, 100 minutes I will have to get my corpse.
Get it?
Also corpses won't be made until C++ is created.
Too much lag it will cause.

I made a system by which those without anything of value to drop, or those in RP mode, or maybe just those who felt like it, could become a ghost with a bucket when they died and have to float around until they could fill up the bucket. Once the bucket filled up they could float back to their body and splash themselves to wake themselves up - a lengthy but penaltyless death.

Stefan didn't like it though.

No, here is how it is, you die, and your corpse is on the floor, then if someone picks it up, they carry it to a certain building, like a temple or something, and you'll get restored, otherwise, you'll be alive after like, an hour or something (your ghost finds its way to your body, and you don't have to be online to wait out the hour.) This would get people to make friends, and those PKers without friends will get their just desserts. I dunno if this idea would get even close to being accepted, but it might

Great, but what about people who just decide to collect corpses and never bring them to the temple?
I suppose then corpses need an option to drop out of the inventory of people they don't like.
What if this happens when the corpse is offline? Or when the corpse has been dragged someplace no longer widely accessable, such as the jerk's house or on a ship? Then I suppose corpses need a magical way of warping back to wherever they were. Not especially likely.

C++ was created decades ago.
The language in which the program is written has no bearing on the competence with which that language copes with internet latency, and drawing a few images on the screen will not tax Graal regardless of the language it uses.

C++ will just make it more compatable for different systems like Lynux and Mac. It might slightly improve performance, but it won't be a drastic change.

If the carrying of corpses would be possible that would be BRUTAL. 75% of Graal Kingdoms are a bunch of LOSER's that are HAPPY to make people mad.
They will take the corpse and sell it or something.
There will ALWAYS be someone like this.

They just like arguing and think of the problems if the idea is implemented, however they do not think about how a problem can be fixed, like maybe a way to choose who you would allow to pick up your unconcious body, technically dying is too silly anyway I don't think you should die cuz it makes no sense theres no RP sense in it really yea everybody on hte server has died and respawns constantly.. woo rp there.. I think it should knock you unconsious so your body can be revived.. and not 1 hour.. more like 15 minutes so there is a penalty for death you lose 15 minutes

Yeah, back in the old system we were pushing for Unconciousness - you don't die, you hit 0 and you can't move. If you're hit again, you go into negatives up to negative your max health; every few seconds you're not hit, you recover a HP or two. You can voluntarily escape and take a penalty (plat drop I guess), but it's better to wait until your PKer leaves or a friend comes to the rescue and defends you or heals you.

Yes Thyme that idea is similar to what i was thinking, I think that would be the best solution to the Death RP factor and a penalty for dying the fact that you can't get up.
