Effects

Does anyone know how to use COLOREFFECT or EFFECTMODE? I have asked many and nobody seems to know just how to get it to work.

What I want to do is color effects for swimming without putting extra pressure on the GFX makers.

The way I do it and I know how to do it is edititing it in Notepad. Here is an example from tourchlight.gani

SPRITE 0 SPRITES 0 0 24 12 shadow
SPRITE 1 fire.gif 0 0 30 52 torch fire
SPRITE 2 fire.gif 8 0 14 52 torch light
SPRITE 3 light2.png 0 0 128 128 light
SPRITE 4 torch.png 0 0 28 32 torch

SINGLEDIRECTION

COLOREFFECT 3 1 0.5 0.5 0.99

Thanks, but even at .99 the alpha is to much. I dont want any transparency really. I want to have selected sprites be blue.

Use 1 for your alpha.
