In my opinion you should be able to prepare wands but only be alowd to have +pow,+wis,+cha,+con (and +int if there is such a thing) improvements to it. I mean, we can have a weapon with improve str,dex,con bonuses...why the hell can we not have a wand with improve pow and wis bonuses? It only gives another disadvantage to magic users (I'm a lv17 Warrior...so take it from me.) Also errm...what is the sense in having "Improve Wisdom Bonus" scrolls for your melee weapons if you have to unequip it to equip a wand to cast a spell? I believe that makes it 100% useless ^_^

They can't add stats to wands for some reason ..

.. but I think that with some programming it could be made possible .. I mean, at one time we could cast spells with a weapon equipped .. they could just consider wands a sort of weapon, I suppose .. eh .. hmm ..

IWD on wands would be silly, I admit, as would enchantment (wc on a nonweapon?!?), but some manner of improvement would be logical...

And since magi blow all their money on spellbooks anyway, IMDs should be cheaper than IWDs.

A good idea, but the special +stat wands should be quest items, and have like, a really REALLY rare wand with +3 Wisdom +3 Intelligence +3 Power, and it'll be called "Staff of the Ages" or something, an limit it to Mage or Priest Class only, so that no other class can use it. (Balancing out the power!)
