Bomy Frustration

Alright, bomies, just about the coolest thing in the world, right? Well, being one right now isn't so great, I mean we can do just about 3 jobs, Apple farming, Pearl Diving and Bird catching (Bleh -_-) While humans can do about 5 jobs, one which a bomy can do. So I ask, how do bomies even stay alive? I mean, it's either become a human, be abused by salesman (Trying to get a shovel and watering can) or just, stay a bomy and get 33% less. Now I agree, pearl diving is one plus compared to being a human, but come on! We can't even fish!

So why be a bomy? Well, look at it this way, it costs $100 to change to a human, and then you have to bake a load of bread, which it took me 2 hours to get 25 gralat. Where as a bomy it took me about 5 minutes.

So in the long run, Bomies get less than humans. Thanks for listening, and have a nice day.

We have 100 more HP than humans, an obvious combat advantage.

The five jobs that humans can do that bomys can't (Bread Baking, Apple Pie Baking, Snowcone Making, Fishing and Mining) aren't as good as pearl diving. Mining has about equal profit, yes, but it requires expensive tools.

Pearl diving is worse now that you need 5 white pearls to get 1 g... but I guess that's a little more fair.

What there should be is more npcs for bomys, like hats and stuff. It can't be very much fun to have staff be working on swords, sword belts, hats, etc. etc. Not that that's all you guys do, I know you do a lot more, but still.

Do you know how much work it takes for a Human to gain a couple of gralats? Humans need a thing we call
Tools

Some tools need upgrading and some even need repair. It costs a great deal to maintain tools and such.

But bomies dont need tools.

I believe it was Googi or some other Bomy person who suggested that bomies should be able to make, sell, and wear pearl necklases and such.

If Muskets become available to kingdoms, then maybe bomies can go into the small sulfar shafts to mine it?

Tools, which bomies can't use. We can't wear hats, you guys came out with scabbards and swords (As said before) and what do bomies get? Do you ever see an update like "Bomies get claws" or some nice little update? No.

But can you tell me something fun, that we can do than humans can't? Hacky sack, yeah, real great. That's one. Compared to the 20 things humans can do we can't.

1: Whine and moan and have nothing happen.
2: Make things for bomys and try and get them uploaded.

You dont need tools, tools make you LOOSE money.

What the hell? Scabbards isn't ANYTHING over a bomy, nor is the sword.

If you get a bomy PKer (I believe Googi is one) I'm sure he could own any Human with a sword. Want to know why? Because Humans have to attack TWICE as many times as bomies do WITH swords. Bomies dont have hands, so they dont have claws.

We can play hacky sack. And do you want to know why the server is based around humans? It's because 99% of them ARE humans. And another reason why the server is based around humans: There is a morphing device in which you can change from bomy to human.

Your arguements would've been fine when you had to RESTART to change your race. But now they are just mindless groans.

I agree with Ghost, if you want something done about it... do it yourself. If you cant do it... go on 2k1 and talk with some of the staffers to see if they can help you. Because that is why they are there, to help you.

Bomy kick does just as much damage as human sword. It's an extra 50g in our pockets.

What? Umm, bomy kick is just as good as the human sword.

Infact, Bomy Kick is BETTER because it's a shorter gani (and is therefore faster).

Well, you're right, humans can do a lot of things that we can't. However, very few of the things that they can do that we can't are actually worth doing (The only one I can think of is hats).

Bomy Advantages:
1)Fast in water, controllable once you get use it or have a speed above 3 on 2k2.
2)100 more hp
3)Faster attacking which does around same as sword
4)Hiding in shell which makes you recieve no damage
5)Jump off cliffs instantly
6)Easier jobs

The main difference I think between the races is that humans have something tradable.
Bomies need something like that which is easily noticed and looks good.
But due to size variation it makes it difficult.

Bomy fishing would be leet.
You could make/buy some special boots that didn't make you go uncontrollably fast in water, but they let you swim like humans only in bomy form by kicking and stuff, and you could sit still over where you found fish and bite down trying to catch fish, and you could struggle to catch it or put it in a sack or something.

Just an idea.

Wrapping the Bird Anchor around their shell and make them slow?

I think they should put a hit ammount that a bomy can stay in the shell at a time. Ive seen some that just PK but then they hide and shell so we cant kill.

...Because there's nothing for bomies to do, so they make stuff for humans, who stay humans because there's nothing for bomies to do. It's a neverending cycle.

Half the humans I know say "I'd be a bomy, but they don't get hats."

5 is a disadvantage in some cases.

Disadvantages
1) No freaking hats.
2) Slow when not in water.
3) Abused by most humans.
4) People enjoy bouncing bomies off the wall.

Bomys should get human hp its not fair.;/

they can kick faster in combat anyway they should have our hp since they dont get hurt anymore when you constantly hit them.

Maybe we have 299 hitpoints max and you have 199 hitpoints max because you can do things that we can't and vice versa? The system all balances it out. I've also found that combat between bomies and humans can be quite equal. If you look at yesterday's war of the races, the fighting would've been more equal, but us bomies had the strength in numbers and people who were willing to fight. You had maybe 3 or 4 people. I don't know, this server shouldn't be all about player killing. There shouldn't be any changes made.

The hp system is okay I think.
True bomies get 100 more hp but that's abotu what, 6, 7, 8 at most extra hits.
Which shouldn't be too difficult as humans are much faster than bomies.

I agree 110 percent. Everyone who disagrees is only proving a point. Because all this arguing and saying "this is unfair" is just proving that bomy players are too big of a hassle to even worry about, since it's never going to be dead even fair to everyone on both sides. Plus having 2 races means if one race gets an update, the other race will feel left out if they can't get an update as well.

Bomies have NO HANDS. It's entirely hard to update them any further. If you make hands for them, they lose their entire purpose. Then they are just like humans and you might as well not be a bomy at all. That's why I always hated the futuristic suit idea where the bomy controlled robot hands with mind powers.

Bomies are nice as pets, they should have never become players.

Do you know how hard it is to kill a bomy? I mean it's hard unless you back them into a corner and keep them occupied.

Bomies have the best financial gain, best defense, and best attack. So if there is a race to improve on... it'd be the Humans. They've finally balanced everything out.

It used to be that there was only 10 or so humans and everyone was a bomy. There was no baking, no diamond axe... no nothing. While Humans would have to work for an hour to get 10g, Bomies would have to work 10 mins.

It's kind of like America, Caucasians have to follow guidelines to help the minority races catch up to them financially and such.

And I dont think it's right when people are like "HUMANS SUCK ASS... THEY CAN DIE. JUST GO AND DIE" (I always make sure they get atleast 15 rocks). Yeah sure, bomy only guilds and houses are fine... but when you go "HUAMSN SUX LOLOL" it's just sickening.
