New zormite houses

just an idea but seeing as how Zormites leave in the sea or whatever, wouldn't it be kewl if their houses where shells?

They should have their old trade island there, and a few small ones around the gmap, but have a thing in the middle, like a stone fort type thing, and it leads into their underground villages.

According to me and the previous g2k2 zormite emperors o_o not like I came up with the idea of being humans lol.

Our society and lifestyle is still largely based around the ocean and aquatic things. Thats why all the towns are around the coast somewhat. Except maybe Kalen but thats different

I gave a nice little rp story to Konidias a long time ago but I dont guess he added it for the Zormite info with that one command *thinks back to what it was*.

No, the Zormites are fish people. Ask anyone who came over from 2k1.

I strongly oppose the current Zormite system. But the Zormites are a FISH RACE. Not Humans.

It goes along with tradition, and 2k2 Zormite is screwing that up.

Hmm, would it satisfy you if I had an RP explaination for why we arent fish? I dont have one at the moment but I have half an idea that would be quite acceptable.

I'm trying to compromise, I understand how strongly you object to it I have heard you speak against it for a long time, it would just make things to difficult in the g2k2 system, and would make the kingdom overall less apealing I believe with so many inconveniencies.

I'd rather have the Zormite Race as the Zormite kingdom in my mind =x. Even if you dont say they are fish, then I'll still think they are fish.

I believe that if you made Zormite a unique race again, then your current members would stay and you would attract new members. Because what's the differnce between Zormite, Dustari, Cresent Pirates, and the Samurai? Hardly anything. So being differnt will bring interested players in.

When I lead Zormite I gave few people recruitment rights. (Tseng, Nappa, Chris, Mizerworry) and they helped me turn Zormite from a 3rd world contry to a superpower.

If Zormite was a fish race from the start, then you would've got Chris. And Chris is a great asset to any war.

Sure it'll take some work making a new race, for all I care you can just recolor the abezorth arms and body and such.

How about in the beginning, we do a small experiment. Why dont you give your members the chance to be the Zormite Race or to be Human. See what they choose. If they choose Human... ask them how they'd feel if the kingdom was converted to Zormite. If it works out then you can make Zormite differnt and attract more people.

Yes one of the main problems would be a major limitation on the players' individual appearances.

There are a few heads currently online that would be acceptable, but I dont think any of them are female. And even then, there may be other heads that people would prefer that they have grown accustomed to.

On the issue of heads, there would also be the problem of hair compatibilities. I'd probably end up having to have a whole new special set of hairs made..that were more like fins or something..since it doesnt make sense for fish to have hair.

Besides that, yes I would have to have more bodies, like arms and torsos..things that would show skin which would need to be blue now or something along those lines.

I tell you what though Zurkiba, I will bring this to the attention of the people. After we have zormite.com set up to a functioning state I will probably have some sort of vote system set up to get the exclusive opinion of our members. Even if I did OK such a change, realize it would take a long time to get the things set up, I'd have to edit the human npc's on zormite isle also hehe..to be more Zormitish.

I am starting to see zurkiba's point.. but if Zormite is limited to a race then all kingdoms should be limited to a race. That way one doesn't seem too less apealing or more appealing than the rest.. and be equal in that way.

Well not every kingdom should be a different race (I'm talking about Samurai, CP, and Dustari)
but I think it's a good idea if a good fish type species head comes along to encourage members to use it.

In other words...while many people may want to play fish headed people, I wonder if it would be off putting to some as well and hurt recruiting. I play in Dustari because it's the most classicaly Dark Ages styled kingdom. Either humans co-exist within the Zormite Kingdom, where the elders are fish people perhaps, or I think it should stay humans.

Perhaps for character, Zormite could be home of the dwindling ancient race of fish people, of which some remain who speak of the old days when they first founded the Zormite Kingdom, while many humans are now living amongst them?

But not following it would break years of tradition and building. I guess you had to be a Zormite leader/member on 2k1 to understand why I want Zormite to be the Zormite race.

Recruitment, you dont need that on 2k2. If you ask your friends to join, then they'll ask their friends to join, and so on. Do you think the creators of Zormite sat down and said "Wait, if we make them turn into fishes... then will that hurt our kingdom?" No, they said "This is what we're going to do and it'll be great".

I highly doubt that Zormite will just die and burn in hell if they go back to tradition.

I agree Zurkiba,

I was thinking that by going to a mixed kingdom, where the historical Zormites are still fish people, with newcomers as humans, you can have the best of both worlds.

All fish people are fine too, but I suspect some in Zormite may not want to be forced to leave or change. Just a guess, I'm not even in Zormite.

Well, there has been some talk about this sort of stuff lately...but we haven't made a final decision yet. But if we do what I want to happen, expect a major RP event.
And also, Zormite doesn't usually send out Mass Messages asking for recruits, except maybe Admiral, so it's not like we're asking people to convert races, it's more like new Zormites show their faces (hey, that rhymed.)

Upon recent inspection, i was noticed that the Zormite houses have a marijana leaf draped over the roof. I do not think this is acceptable, even if it was not intended.

Upon recent inspection, there's no such thing as marijana, and it's clearly a top from a palm tree, as there are six palm fronds on the ring of leaves.

There are more important things to fix with Zormite than worrying about house graphics.
