Enchant Armour Scroll dont work

I tried it on my mithril and it saids Im not powerful enough and Brad tried it on his Demon shield and it saids the same thing but Brad can enchat his Wizard hat :/

It seems no one can enchant body armour, but I dunno why it doesn't work on Brad's shield.

I can explain why it didn't work on the shield it consists of 3 major factors all shadowing the major point the three factors are:

1. Brads AC level

2. Brads MG level

3. Brads ability to handle improvements

You need a good ac level and magic level but then the ability to handle improvements is even more important because if you can handle 6 and you have 6 on your weapon you can't have another improvement on your armor. But all of this means nothing because as I said before they shadow the real important point of whether it will work or not and that is.. whether you are a flaming retard and basically Brad failed this test.. or one of the factors.. but I am betting on the latter shadowed point.

No I do believe that Excalibur was right, I mean what you just said has pretty much nothing to do with why Brad couldn't enchant his armour. And you are, in fact, a spamming idiot.
Armour can be enchanted once, and then once more for every ten levels you have, which is why the current highest number most people can enchant to is +2, no one has legally reached level 20. Why body armour and Brad's shield is an exception I couldn't tell you, but I am positive it has absolutely nothing to do with what you said. I mean it hardly even made sense.

Enchantment of armour is achieved with the enchant armour scrolls. Each time you successfully use a scroll, you will add a plus value, more armour to the piece of equipment and some fractional amount of weight.

You may only add up to 1 + (overall level/10) (rounded down like an integer) in pluses to any one piece of armour. How much armour value you add to the item is also dependent on your overall level. You may never enchant a piece of armour to have an armour rating greater than their overall level or 99.

not sure if that helps but its basically what the mudlib thinks about enchanting armour
